Fundraiser For Saunders Library Features Malcolm X’s Daughter

Saunders Library Foundation, hosted a gala at the new library featuring the daughter of Malcolm X, Ilyasah Shabazz. Ms. Ilyasah Shabazz read to 5th and 6th graders when she was in Tampa a few weeks ago. She read from the book she au- thored, “Malcolm Little: The Boy Who Grew Up To Become Malcolm X.”

Dr. and Mrs. Paul (Debra) Sheehy were among the guests who attended the gala fundraiser at the new Robert W. Saunders Library.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius (Shani) Davis were also among the guests in attendance.
Mrs. Gloria Andrews was among the guests in attendance.
Mr. and Mrs. Wil (Gina) Leathers attended the fundraiser gala.
