MR. OTIS WILLIAMS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Otis Williams of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, will be held on Saturday, Janu- ary 9th, 11:00 a.m., at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Bartholomew Banks, pastor of St. John Progressive M. B. Church, officiating. The inter- ment will be held in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Otis Williams was born Au- gust 31, 1937, in Leary, Georgia. He attended St. John Progres- sive M. B. Church. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and football. Otis retired from TECO.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Rollin and Pearl Miller Williams, Raleigh Williams, Jr., Mattie Dora W. Brown, and Robert James Williams; mother of his chil- dren, Hannah Wedlaw; daugh- ters, Syliva Williams; mother of son, Doretha Graham, Solomon Jordan.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his spe- cial friend, Ceceli Callahan; children, Sandra Williams, Marsha Williams Jones (Johnny), Otis Williams, Jr., Romando C. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, January 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Chapel on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Ellar Mae Jenkins- Brown, who passed away De- cember 29, 2020, will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021, at First Missionary Bap- tist Church of Highland Pines, 4711 E. 21st Ave., Tampa, FL; Rev. Cleveland Lane, Pastor, Minister Melvin Aiken, Offici- ating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Mrs. Ellar Mae Jenkins- Brown was born July 4, 1949, in Brunson, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, and father, Sylvia and Charles Gray; brothers: James Gray, Larry Gray and Hansel Gray; and niece, Brendoris Smith.
Mrs. Ellar Mae Jenkins- Brown leaves to cherish her memories: her husband for 40 years, Leroy Brown; sister, Ineze (Ike Washington); broth- ers, Lane Gray (Lizzie) and Sydney Gray; sisters-in-law, Katie (Frank Johnson), Car- olyn (Shermon Brown), Dorothy Washington, and Evandy Brown; 40 nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held this Friday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Har- mon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610. Friends are asked to assemble for the processional at the church at 10:45 a.m.
Social distancing and facial coverings/masks are required at all services, including the committal at Rest Haven Me- morial Park. Friends will as- semble for the Homegoing Celebration at the church Sat- urday, 10:45 a.m.

Deacon David Lee Williams, Sr., 75, a resident of Tampa, FL. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alva Williams’ beloved spouse and his son’s father.
A life so beautifully lived desires to be remembered. Join us as we celebrate his passing. The wake will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, from 5-7 p. m., at Re-Birth Bap- tist Church, 1924 Comanche Avenue, Tampa, FL.
David’s graveside service will be held at 11 A. M., Satur- day, January 9, 2021, at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa. Social dis- tancing and mask are required.

BROTHER JOHNNIE L. REESE
A Homegoing Celebration for Brother Johnnie L. Reese, who passed away on December 29, 2020, will be held at 11 a. m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Peace Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2607 East 24th Avenue, Tampa, Bishop Sylvester Robinson, Senior Pastor, Officiating Eu- logist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Brother Johnnie Lee Reese was born November 23, 1943 in Tampa, Florida to the late Mary Magdalene-Reese and late James Thomas, Sr. He was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1962. He was employed at Florida Steel Tampa for 29 years from which he retired in 2005. Dur- ing his years of retirement, he worked at Walmart as a Super- visor. He was married to his wife, Essie Reese, for 41 years.
He began his Christian journey at an early age, and joined Peace Progressive Mis- sionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend J. C. Goins. He was a devoted and faithful member of Peace Pro- gressive for over 40 years. He also gave his tithe to the Lord, even when he could not bring it himself. He served on Culi- nary Ministry and was an avid
member of the Men’s Sunday School class. He often men- tioned how he missed attend- ing his Sunday School class.
He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather. He was a quiet, humble, lov- ing, and caring person. One of the joys of his life was fishing with his brothers. He was a true home town fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a hardworking man.
He was preceded in death by: his parents Mary Magda- lene-Reese and James Thomas, Sr.; Mother, Ana Reese and Father, John B. Reese; brothers and sisters, Joseph Reese, Phyllis Rose Jones, Major Reese, James T. Reese, Jr., Mertis Wedlow and blended daughter Elizabeth Roberts.
He leaves to cherish loving memories with: his loving wife, Essie Reese; children, Sharon, Sylvia, Fredrick Reese; blended children, Ameenah, Ira, Bennie, Willie, Essie, Antonio; 43 grandchil- dren, 90 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchil- dren; special blended grand- children, Meocean, Johneather, Helmer, Desmond, Faith, Elijah, Honey; 3 brothers, George (Ann) Reese, Willie (Barbara) Reese, Bernard (Johnnie) Reese; 3 sisters, Brenda Reese-Brown, Andrea Reese, Cynthia (John) McDonald; a host of nieces and nephews and extended family; special friends, Freddie McNair, Dea. Rick Kendrick, Esau.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, 6-8 p. m. at Integrity Funeral Serv- ices, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 10:30 a. m. at the church. In compli- ance for the safety of the pub- lic, facial masks are required and temperature monitoring upon entrance for both serv- ices.
