MR. REGINALD ISAIAH BEARD
A Home Going Celebration was held for Mr. Reginald Isaiah Beard on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Roundtree, II, Of- ficiating. Interment followed at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
The Light of the World has called one of HIS Angel’s home. Reginald Isaiah Beard transitioned on December 23, 2020.
Reginald was born on June 11, 1958 to the late Walter L. Beard and Marie B. Beard in Avon Park, Florida. Reginald grew up in Se- bring, Florida, before the family moved to Tampa, Florida in 1965. Reginald joined Mt. Zion MB Church in Tampa, Florida at nine years old under Reverend W. H. Calhoun.
Reginald attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from King High School in 1976, where he was a football standout. Reginald also attended Florida A & M University before entering the United States Army.
Reginald was trained and drove long distance trucks for sev- eral years.
Reginald will be sadly missed by: his mother, Marie B. Beard, of Tampa, Florida; daughters, Ms. Latasha Beard of Tampa, Florida and Scionti Beard of Tampa, Florida; sister, Beverly Brown, of Valrico, Florida; he also leaves to cherish and mourn his passing with six grandchildren; brother, Walter (Carolyn) Beard, of Clarksville, Tennessee; best friends, Carlton Roberts of At- lanta, Georgia, Arthur Williams, of Tampa, Florida, David Mills, of Tampa, Florida, Robert Young of Atlanta, Georgia, Randy Love, of Tampa, Florida, and George Green of Durham, North Carolina, and other sorrowful cousins, family and friends.

MR. CHUDNEY JACKSON
A Homecoming Celebration for Mr. Chudney A. Jackson, af- fectionately known as “Chuck” will be held on Saturday January 9, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Allen Temple A.M.E. Mr. Jackson was born in Cordele, Georgia, on March 10, 1977, to the parentage of Larry Greene and Althamese Jackson. He grew up in Fort Myers, FL, and later moved to Tampa, FL, in 1991.
He attended and graduated from C. Leon King High School. Mr. Jackson was employed with Amazon as a Delivery Driver. In his spare time, Chuck loved to play Dominos and spending time with his daughters and grandbaby. His favorite sports teams were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Lakers (Kobe Bryant).
Mr. Chudney A. Jackson was called home on December 26, 2020.
He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents; grand- mother, Ossie Mae Hendley-Jack- son; grandfather, Robert Jackson, Sr,; uncle, Louis Didley and Robert C. Jackson, Jr.; aunts, Louise Did- ley and Yvonne Didley-Miller; and cousin, Yolanda Morgan.

BISHOP HEADLY LLOYD SIMPSON
A public viewing will be held for Bishop Headly Lloyd Simpson on Sat- urday January 9, 2021, at The Center for Manifestation, 3102 East Lake Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33610 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. A service will be scheduled and privately attended by the family.
Bishop Headly Lloyd Simpson was born January 20, 1932, in Kingston, Jamaica to Ms. Ethline Hanson (Rose). His stepfather was Basil Rose they both preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ at the age of 17 and six months later he began preach- ing the gospel of Jesus Christ with signs and wonders. At the age of 21, he came to America, where he met and married Mary Jean Williams January 19, 1957. In 1961 he was ordained an Elder in the Church of God In Christ by Bishop Nesbitt to start a church in Progress Village. In 1964 he was ap- pointed Pastor of St. Paul Temple COGIC that merged with Central Vil- lage COGIC, and also pastored Dade City COGIC. Together, Elder H. L. Simpson, Elder W. W. Gilyard and Elder W. E. Davis later founded the Church of God in Christ Jurisdiction of Southwestern Florida, and Elder W.E. Davis was installed as Bishop. Bishop Davis appointed Elder Simp- son as Superintendent over several churches in the Tampa District, and in 1978 appointed him First Administra- tive Assistant. In 1984, Superintend- ent Simpson was led by God to establish an independent ministry that eventually became known as True Vine True Holiness Church. As Presi- dent and Bishop, he launched several churches, mission work in the United States and abroad, including a new hospital in Jamaica. On May 28th, 1995, Bishop Simpson and congrega- tion dedicated their newest sanctuary on Lake Avenue, where they wor- shiped until Bishop’s relocation to Ja- maica.
The sanctuary was later known as Mountain Top International, pastored by one of his spiritual sons, Arch- bishop David Jones. The sanctuary is currently known as the Center For Manifestation, pastored by Apostle Mark T. Jones, Sr.
After Bishop and Mother Simpson returned from the Mission Field of Ja- maica, he worshipped with his Spiri- tual son, Bishop Samuel Phillips for thirteen years at Word of His Grace Fellowship until the close of his day on Monday December 28, 2020. “A Journey Completed.”
He leaves to cherish memories of him with: his devoted and loving wife of 63 years, Mary Jean Simpson; five sons: David Lloyd Simpson (Michelle); Melvin Othnel Simpson; Darryl Leon Simpson (Lourdes); Ronald Jerome Simpson, all of Tampa, FL and Phillip Dwayne Simp- son (Joi) of Orlando, FL; two daugh- ters, Yolanda Loraine Simpson-Ivy (Willie) of Tampa, FL and Mary Eliza- beth Simpson-Jackson of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; twenty five grandchildren; forty one great grandchildren; one great, great, grandchild; one brother, Ronnie Chi Chang of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one sister, Carol (Dawn) Robin- son of Jamaica, WI; a host of nieces, nephews, god children, and his church family.

MOTHER BEATRICE ADAMS STROTHER
A Home Going Celebration for Mother Beatrice Adams Strother, was held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Pastor Antonio Hawkins, Officiated.
On December 30, 1941 in Tampa, Florida, Mr. Willie Adams and Mrs. Cora Lee Adams became the proud parents of a baby girl, whom they named Beatrice. She grew up in the Ybor City area known as “The Bottom” and attended the public schools of Hillsborough County.
She worked for the seafood industry for over 10 years. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church as a young child until her illness.
She Remained a True Pillar of the faith even after her illness and continued fellowship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
God saw his faithful servant growing weary, and on Sunday af- ternoon, the 27th day of Decem- ber, 2020, God sent His Angel of Death to summon home the soul of our beloved Beatrice Adams.
Mother Beatrice leaves to cherish loving memories with: her sons, Herbert L. Finley and Eric C. Anderson; daughters, Queen E. Spotford and Sharon D. Watson; a host of grandchildren, Shaketha Jones, Herbert Finley, Jr., Kimberly Curry, Shanay Fin- ley, Katrina Finley, Eric Hender- son, Jr., Eric Henderson, III, and Antonio Henderson; a host of great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; care- givers, Ricole Stone, Linda Perry, Beverly Grayson and Bettie Alexander and other sorrowing friends and loved ones.
