AIKENS
MR. ARTHUR BURNEY, SR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Arthur Burney, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017, will be held on Thursday, July 13th, 11 a. m., at Deliverance Body of Christ, 2708 E. 23rd Ave., Elder George Bailey, of- ficiating. The interment will follow.
Arthur was born in Ha- vana, Florida on January 6, 1941.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories with: his wife, Nellie Mae Burney; 9 children, Arthur Burney, Jr., Ronnie Burney, Brenda Bur- ney, Latonya Payne (Frank), Frederick Timmons (Felicia), Christopher Bryant, Anthone Bryant (Aurora), Alfred Day- mon, Jr. (Thomasina), and Eddie Wright, III (Nicole); 24 grandchildren, Monique, Jas- min, Arthur and Tony Burney, Frederick, Alecia, Malik and Braxton Timmons, Brittany Ford, Joshua Simpson, Twon- isha, Shyla, Shyra and Brazil Bryant; Kamryn, Jaylyn and Dekarii Payne, Aldaisha, Al- fred, Alfonzo, Al’liya and Al’Javonnie Daymon, Zion and Zayden Wright; brother, Jeffrey Robinson; sisters, Ruth Johnson (DJ) and Car- olyn Hall (Willie); friends, Ernest Brinson and Mr. Lind- say (Sid); Deliverance Church family; and a host of other rel- atives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 12th from 4 to 7 p. m. The family will re- ceive friends from 5 to 6 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Thursday for the service.

MRS. MARY LEE RUTLEDGE
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Mary Lee Rutledge, who passed away on July 7, 2017, will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017, at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Tampa, with Rev. Dr. Evan Burrows, Pastor, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Rutledge leaves behind: her husband, Fred O. Rutledge, Sr.; daughter, Altamese Rutledge Brinson and husband, Jesse; son, Minister Fred O. Rutledge, Jr. and wife, Jacquelyn; daugh- ter, Michele Rutledge Vaughn and husband, Gary and son, Rev. Dr. Michael Rutledge and wife, Alicia; her loving grandchildren, Gina Duncombe and husband Johnathan, Stanley G. Merchant, Jr. and wife, Terri, Fred O. Rut- ledge, III, Anthony D. Merchant, Candyce Vaughn, Gary L. Vaughn, Jr., Ashli Southall and husband Cameron, Dr. Michael E. Rutledge, Jr., Michaela Rut- ledge, Ayana Rutledge; her great- grandchildren, Angela Merchant, Christina Merchant, Cameri Southall and Cameia Southall; her caretaker, Carita Fant and many other relatives and loved ones.
Mrs. Mary Lee Rutledge, age 87, was born in Marianna, Florida on January 19, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Florence Crawford Rynes. Mrs. Rutledge was united in holy mat- rimony to Mr. Fred O. Rutledge, Sr. for 70 years.
Mrs. Rutledge was a faithful member for 62 years at the First Baptist Church of College Hill, Rev. Dr. Evan Burrows, Pastor. As a diligent Foster Care Parent along with her husband for over 39 years she shared in the lives of some 400 children.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 5 – 8 p. m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Friday at approxi- mately 10:45 a. m.

HAROLD EUGENE COOPER-WRIGHT February 17, 1952 — July 2, 2017
A Memorial Service for Mr. Harold Eugene Cooper-Wright, who passed away in Roanoke, Virginia, on July 2, 2017, was held at Jerusalem Baptist Church, in Roanoke at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 8, 2017.
Harold grew up in West Tampa and attended schools in Hillsborough County. He was very well liked, adventurous and a real charmer. Neighbors began calling him “Rev. Scott” because he had such a way with words and an endearing personality.
He owned Wright’s Lawn Services and his motto was, “If it’s not right, it’s not by Mr. Wright.” He loved his family, his dogs and he really appreciated the friendship and love of his church family at Jerusalem Bap- tist Church. He had lived in Roanoke, Virginia for the past 20 years.
Harold was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Mae Groover-Wright.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: 2 sisters, Patricia Riley- Smith and husband, Harold, and Phyllis Wright; 2 brothers, Curtis Wright, and Carlton Wright. He was proud of his loving nieces and nephews Lundria Blair and husband, Melvin Sr.; Cheri and husband, Keaton; and Marjorie; along with Michael and wife, Tia; and Curtis Jr.
He also leaves many grand nieces and grand nephews. He was blessed with two Angelic and wonderful ex-wives Nadirah Wright, of Roanoke and Mary Robinson, of Tampa.
His ashes will be buried with his mother in Tampa, Florida at a date to be announced.
