Beyonce Tour Opener In Miami, Dedicated Songs To Prince, Jay Z
Beyonce kicked off her 2016 “Formation” World Tour in Miami on Wednes- day (April 27) and, as ex- pected, it was an amazing spectacle. The R&B super- star opened the show with “Formation,” which drew the crowd into a frenzy.
According to E! News, Beyonce’s husband, Jay Z, as well as fellow rappers Rick Ross and Lil Wayne were enjoying the action in the comforts of their front row seating.
Queen Bey took a mo- ment to remember the fallen icon as she looked up at the sky and said, “Prince, thank you for your beautiful music. God, thank you for speaking through a beautiful artist that inspired all of us.” During her cos- tume change break, the R&B mom had “Purple Rain” playing throughout the venue.
As for the rumors that Beyonce’s marriage to Hov is in turmoil, she deaded all of that with her dedication of “Halo” to Jay Z. “I wanna dedicate this to my beautiful husband... I love you so much,” she said.
Duchess Kate and Prince William hid the name of a painting from President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, during their visit to Kensington Palace on April 22.
The painting in question is by Dutch artist Aelbert Cuyp and is titled “A Page With Two Horses.” The landscape piece from 1660 is also known as “The Negro Page,” and features a Black servant boy with 2 steeds.
The painting was selected by Middleton from the royal col- lection, and has a plaque on it which bears the piece’s alterna-
tive name. According to the re- port, the Duchess, 34, and William, 33, had the name- plate removed from the piece, and placed a potted plant in front of the painting to hide where the plaque had been.
During the Obamas’ visit, Prince George got to stay up past his bedtime and greeted the Obama’s in his adorable pa- jama and robe ensemble.
First Lady Michelle Obama has been actively in- volved in Prince Harry’s Invic- tus Games, which supports wounded veterans.
