MR. MICHAEL ‘BIG MIKE’ M. BAILEY
A Celebration of Life for Michael “Big Mike” M. Bailey of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, Jan- uary 1, 2019 will be held Sat- urday, January 12th, 11 a. m. at Victory AME Church, 5202 S. 86th Street, Pastor Michael Price, officiating. The inter- ment will be held in Ty Ty, Georgia.
Michael was born March 27, 1973 in Tifton, Georgia. He enjoyed spending time with family, riding motorcy- cles and traveling.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Mary A. Bai- ley and grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories with: his fiancée, Lakisha Tolbert; chil- dren, Denevon M. Bailey, Khija J. Bailey, MyKaija Bai- ley, MyKira Bailey, MyKia Bailey and Maiya Bailey; grandchildren, Elijah A. Bai- ley and Kaiden A. Bailey; fa- ther, Edward Bailey, Jr. and Samuel G. Brown; brothers, Darrell Bruce (Nicole) of Tampa, and Sameeh Brown of Ashburn, Georgia; sisters, Chaundra Hamilton of Brooklyn, New York, Shonda Bailey of Tampa, and Afra Brown of Atlanta, Georgia; aunts, Mamie Atwater and Ceola Bates; uncles, Gregory Bruce; special cousins, Jamila Alford and Tonya Burr; special friends, James “Amp” Lawrence and Cosha Johnson; godmother, Ernes- tine Pringley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other rela- tives and special friends that will miss him.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 11th from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p. m.

MR. LEROY JAMES THOMAS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Leroy James Thomas, “L. J.” of Tampa, who passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, will be held Saturday, January 12th, 10 a. m. at Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ, 2001 N. Albany Ave., Supt. C. U. Sutton, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Leroy was born on January 22, 1936 in Gillette, Florida to the late Joseph Thomas and Janie Wilson. Leroy received his formal education through the Hillsborough County Public School System and was a gradu- ate of Don Thompson High School, currently known as Blake High School. He was a long time member of 29th Street Church of Christ, before becom- ing a faithful member of Miracle Temple COGIC in 2017.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Joe Thomas; mother, Janie Wilson; 2 broth- ers and 2 sisters.
He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with: his loving wife, Pearl B. Thomas; children, Jemaris Thomas and Supt. Clethen U. Sutton (Susan); grandchildren, Clethen H. Sutton, Chalani Sut- ton, Cameron Sutton and Ezekiel Wilson; great grandson, Cameron Sutton, II; brother-in- law, Johnny Campbell; sisters, Margarie Cox and Barbara Greene; nieces, Rita Brown and family and Felice Comissiong; nephews, Willie Johnson (Cookie), Marvin Johnson (San- dra) and Avia Thomas; cousin, Marjorie White and family; friends, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Jacobs, Dr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell, Mrs. Flora Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Standberry and family; Miracle Temple Church family, Mr. and Mrs. Lucious Lafaver; and a host of other rel- atives and friends.

MR. JERRY WALKER
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Jerry Walker, “Colt,” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, will be held on Saturday, January 12th, 2 p. m. at First Victory Cathedral, 1920 E. Sligh Avenue, Bishop Michael W. Lewis, Sr., officiating. The in- terment will be in Garden of Memories.
Jerry “Colt” Walker was born October 2, 1945 in Toledo, Georgia to the union of Robert and Inez Walker. Jerry moved from Georgia to Miami, Florida in 1969. There, he met his “true soul mate,” Marilyn. They were united in matrimony in May of 1983 and out of that union they had three beautiful sons, Jere, Delano and Maceo. Jerry also was a father to Cedric Walker, who preceded him in death.
Jerry moved the family from Miami to Tampa in 1987 where they presently reside. Jerry accepted Christ in his life and continued his walk under the tutelage of Bishop Lewis and First Victory Cathedral of Tampa.
Jerry leaves to mourn his departure: his wife, Marilyn; sons, Jere, Delano and Maceo; three brothers, Robert Walker (Ruby), Tommy Walker (An- nette) and Melvin Walker (Hope); one sister, Pearl Walker (Donnie); mother-in- law, Catherine Young; father- in-law, Curtis Jones; 13 grandchildren, Delana, De- siree, Maceo, Jr., Delano, Jr., Malik, Tyler, Delasia, Delon, Kingston, Destin, Antonio, Cedrick, Jr. and Cedtara; spe- cial cousins whose lives he im- pacted, Marvia, Develin and Drew Robinsons; two great grandkids, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Brenda Evangeline Williams of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, will be held Saturday, January 12th at 2 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The inter- ment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Brenda was born February 13, 1956 in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the late Benjamin and Carrie L. Williams. She at- tended the local schools of Polk County in Frostproof, Florida. She worked for vari- ous insurance companies and retired from Frontier Commu- nications.
She was preceded in death by: her parents and brother, Benjamin Williams, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her brother, Samuel Williams, Sr. (Nadine); sister, Anna Hol- land (Eric); niece, Anna Hamilton; nephew, Samuel Williams, Jr.; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends that will miss her; spe- cial friends, Toni Miller and Maggie L. Matthews.
The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at 1 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Satur- day for the service.
