Sheriff’s Office Accepting Donations For Hurricane Dorian
Sheriff Chad Chronis- ter has launched a hurri- cane donation supply drive for victims affected by Hur- ricane Dorian. The Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Office will accept donations from residents, beginning Thursday, September 5, through Friday, September 13.
The Sheriff's Office will be collecting hurricane relief supplies at all five of its dis- trict offices and both Orient Road and Falkenburg Road Jails.
Sheriff Chronister
said, “We're fortunate that Hillsborough County was spared by Hurricane Do- rian, but that's not the case in the Bahamas. That coun- try needs our help.
“Let's show the Ba- hamian people that they are not alone. Florida cares.”
Residents are encour- aged to drop off supplies ranging from food and water to first aid items. HCSO will not be accepting clothing or monetary donations.
The following supplies will be accepted: water,

canned goods and non-per- ishable foods, can openers, disposable plates and eating
utensils, baby formula, baby wipes, diapers, personal hy- giene kits, sunscreen, mos- quito repellent, flashlights, batteries, small generators, portable radios (battery or crank), chain saws, shovels, first aid items, cleaning items, tarps, solar-powered chargers, and shipping pal- lets.
Donations can be dropped off in the front lobby at the following loca- tions:

District II Office: 2310 Falkenburg Rd, Tampa, FL 33619;
District III Office:
7202 Gunn Hwy, Tampa, FL 33625;
District IV Office: 508 33rd Street SE, Ruskin, FL 33570;

Orient Road Jail: 1201 Orient Road, Tampa, FL 33619; and
Falkenburg Road Jail: 520 N. Falkenburg Road, Tampa, FL 33619.
