Community Clean-Up Sat., Jan. 14, 2017 8a. m. – 12 p. m. 8701 Progress Blvd.
Progress Village resi- dents, now is the time to get rid of your old furniture, ap- pliances, clean up your yards, storage sheds and even your closets. Bring your unwanted and discarded items to the park. There will be dumpsters to discard everything that does not go into your regular weekly trash.
Note: Seniors 65 years and older, you may contact Linda Washington @ 813-741-3604 for curbside pick-up. You will need to have items to the curb by 8 a. m. on Saturday.
Acceptable items at dumpsters: Old refrigera- tors, ovens, water heaters, steel and other metals, old furniture (such as couches, chairs, tables and mat-
tresses), construction debris (such as concrete, bricks, glass and roofing materials), tires, televisions, mi- crowaves computers and ra- dios.
We will also accept gently used clothing and household items that will be donated to “Clothing and More Com- munity Outreach.”
MLK Day Of Service – A Day On, Not A Day OFF
In recognition and cele- bration of our MLK Day of Service (Community Clean- up) join us from 1-3 in the Recreation/Senior Center as we celebrate with a purpose.
There will be free food and entertainment.
The Clean-up project is made possible by Hillsbor- ough County Board of County Commissioners, Of- fice of Neighborhood Rela- tions, Public Utilities Department and Hillsbor- ough Community College.
