In the tweeted photos, Biles was in a top by Blue Life

Former Tampa Bay Buc Warrick Dunn Gave Clemson QB’s Family A House 10 Years Ago Through His Foundation

Clemson quarterback and soon-to-be NFL first-round draft pick Deshaun Wat- son’s upbringing came with assistance from none other than former NFL running back Warrick Dunn.
Dunn played 12 years in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buc- caneers and Atlanta Falcons, and after retiring, he estab- lished the Warrick Dunn Char- ities foundation. The foundation’s goal was to pro- vide affordable housing for families in need. Dunn’s mo- tive was that he lost his own mother when he was 18.
Watson, along with his mother Deann and three sib- lings, lived in a small, cramped apartment in Gainesville, Ga.
Deshaun brought home a Habitat for Humanity note one day that gave steps to home ownership, which Deann pur- sued.
She spent over 300 hours helping build new houses be- fore they could move into one of their own.
Through his foundation, Dunn was able to surprise the
Watson family with a fur- nished home with four bed- rooms, two baths, and even a full refrigerator.
"I felt grown having my own room," Watson told the re- porters. "Just having my own bed, not really being squished, not really worrying about someone sneaking up on me, it was a great moment, a special moment."
It’s something Dunn loves to help people with, especially when the effort is put in. "We're helping people who are helping themselves," Dunn said. "It's crazy how much pride people have when it's something they work for and not something they're given."
Dunn might not have known that Deshaun would become a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist and national champion, but it shows the im- pact can be even greater than imagined.
Watson led Clemson to vic- tory over Alabama, 35-31. He threw for 420 yards, 3 TDs and 1 rushing. Watson declared for the NFL draft after the game.
Derrick Rose Misses Game To Be With His Mom; Didn’t Tell Team Until He Returned
“It had nothing to do with the team or basketball, but that’s the first time I ever felt like that emo- tionally, and I had to be with my family,” Derrick Rose told re- porters Tuesday about his unex- plained absence from the Knicks game against the Pelicans Mon- day night. He said he went back to Chicago Monday and returned to New York Tuesday morning.
