How Many Wrongs Does It Take?
I don't know what is worse, what Donald Trump said or the pathetic com- ments by "responsible" politicians to try and change the meaning of what he said and its logical and lethal potential.
The only people that may be stupid enough to believe any other interpretation of what Trump said, other than the only way to protect the Second Amendment is to elect Trump or assassi-
nate Hillary Clinton, are the people that attend his ral- lies and cheer him on and those that would vote for him thinking that he could actually be a presi- dent of the U.S.!
Trump, members of our government and Trump fol- lowers have lost sight of just who Trump is talking about; Hillary Clinton is just not another candidate for the office of President of the U. S., Hillary is a former
First Lady of Arkansas, a former First Lady of the U. S., a former U. S. Senator who served with distinction and respect from both Re- publican and Democrat col- leagues and who served as Secretary of State after re- ceiving a 100% Senate con- firmation; while Trump is just another corrupt busi- nessman with enough money to force his way and ideas into the political land- scape of our nation and plant an enormous monkey wrench!
Trump wants to be Presi- dent of the U. S. without having a clue what being President of the U. S. means, what it entails and the people in our govern- ment and our political envi- ronment know that as well as you and I, but they still put the nation and the free world in jeopardy by back- ing his candidacy!
Plus, Trump is an out- right liar. Hillary has no in- tention of doing anything with the second amend- ment; she has said what she wants to do in response to the gun violence in the U. S. and that is to keep guns out of the hands of irresponsi- ble people! Deleting the Second Amendment or tak-
ing away our guns is just another right wing conservative propa- ganda scare campaign aimed at the marginally educated and lesser in- formed members of the populist to try and dis- qualify progressive po- litical candidates!
Personally, while I despise Trump and people of his ilk, I don't want the Republican party to remove him as their candidate; with Trump as the opposi- tion candidate, Hillary
is a lock! I will be satis- fied with right-minded Re- publicans denouncing Trump’s words and keeping a lid on the conservative nut jobs that are of a mindset that the way to run this na- tion is by killing people that have other opinions and other solutions to the na- tion’s problems and progress!
Every time it looks like the nation is finally coming of age, emerging from a his- tory of violence, systemic and overt racism and other forms of discrimination, and the worship of money and the justification of all wrong doing in favor of the almighty bottom line, along
comes a Trump and the mil- lions of people that find him acceptable as a person and as a presidential candi- date to remind us of our na- tion’s history and potential direction if a Trump like candidate is elected!
The only thing wrong with America are the Trumps and the people that think like him and/or find him ac- ceptable to be President of the U. S.!
Where has the Republi- can Party gone? What has happened to the Republican Party? Is Trump really the best candidate the Republi- cans have to offer, really!
