MASTER JEPHTE SERGE GERMAIN- ROGERS
A Homegoing Celebration for Master Jephte Serge Ger- main-Rogers of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, will be held on Saturday, August 25th, 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street. Rev. S. Evan Burrows, pastor, with Pastor Patrick Petit-Frere, officiating. The in- terment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Jephte was born on Novem- ber 11, 2001 in Tampa, Florida to Joel Germain, Jr. and Aisha Lenay Rogers. He enjoyed training, playing football, giv- ing to the homeless, making people laugh, protecting his parents, dancing and singing.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories with: his parents, Joel S. Germain and Aisha L. Rogers; brothers, Jerome, III and Jeron Wilson; grandparents, Guy, Sr., Arlie and Peggy Rogers, Luc Serge and Dievdonne Germain and Madame and Marie-Marthe Doyen and family; aunts, Tisha McMillian, Joan Germain-Con- ley and Marie Paul; uncles, Jean Germain, Guy and Major Rogers; cousins, Noah and Cameron Petit-Frere, NyAsia McMillian, NyAhnni Germain, Jalen and Jonas Bonannee, the Petit-Frere family and JodieAnn Jenkins, Guy Jenk- ins, Eric Paul, Noelle Paul, Curtis Paul; best friend and brother in spirit, Xavier Free- man; family and special friends, Omega Psi Phi Frater- nity, Inc., 23 Restaurant Ser- vices and Ford’s Garage; and a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins.
The visitation will be held on Friday, August 24th at First Baptist Church of College Hill from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Agnes Paul Mitchell of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, will be held Saturday, Au- gust25,at2p.m.atBrownMe- morial Church of God in Christ, 2313 E. 27th Avenue with Bishop Matthew Williams, officiating. The interment will be in Rose Memorial Cemetery.
Agnes Paul Mitchell was born September 22, 1952 in Tampa. She attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. Agnes enjoyed sewing and spending time with her children and grandchildren, along with other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Sam Mitchell; mother, Lizzie Mae Tillman; fa- ther, Allen Paul and Elbert Melton; grandmother, Sarah Sheppard; grandfather, Charlie Sheppard; sister, Beverly Dye; and brother, Johnnie Melton.

       MR. WILLIE JAMES WILBORN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Willie James Wilborn of Tampa, Florida, who went home to be with the Lord on Wednes- day August 15, 2018, will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 11 a. m. at New Progress Mission- ary Baptist Church, 3307 E. Shadowlawn Ave., Bishop Michelle B. Patty, officiating. The internment will be in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Willie James Wilborn was born May 29, 1938 in Clayton, Al- abama to parents, John Robert Wilborn and Vinnie Lee Parmer.
He was preceded in death by: his son, Anthony Ricardo Wilborn; as well as a loving and caring big brother and sister, James Wilborn and Mollie John- ston Spidell; and in-laws, Annie and Jessie Byrd and Levi Breedlove.
He received Christ at an early age at New Bethel Church in Clayton, Alabama. His education started in Barbour County, Ala- bama and continued throughout his life.
He came to Tampa, Florida in 1954 and worked various jobs in warehouses and supply posi- tions. He retired from Standard Marine Supply Company in 2003.

Mrs. Ruth Carolyn Scott Moore, 85, retired Educator, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, passed away on August 15.
Survivors include: daughters, Karen P. Moore and Kimberly M. Fortson; grandchildren, Daryl Patrice Fortson and Benjamin William Scott Fortson; sister, Mary S. Hardison; other relatives and friends.
