Woman Charged In Theft Of Baby Formula
Lands Accused
Car Burglar In Jail
Earlier this week, police filed additional charges against a Tampa woman in jail for grand theft. She is ac- cused of stealing baby for- mula from a grocery store in April 2018.
Ms. Alexcia Calhoun,
21, was arrested on May 4th and charged with grand theft. She also had an active war- rant for her arrest from an- other county. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office charged her on Monday.
According to police, on April 17th, around 6:30 p.m., Ms. Calhoun and another unidentified woman entered Harvey’s Supermarket, 2630 Highway 92, in Lakeland and went to the baby aisle.
Ms. Calhoun is accused of putting 46 cans of formula in a shopping cart and walk- ing toward the front of the store. The two women forced open the entrance doors and walked out without paying for the formula.

A Tampa man, linked to the burglaries of 20 vehicles, was arrested Monday. He is being held at the Hillsbor- ough County Jail on a $76,000 bond.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a h0me in the 6400 block of Sawyer Road, on Monday in reference to a domestic vio- lence. Deputies learned the dispute involved a brother and sister.
Ms. Meseadia Springer, 38, told police that she became involved in an argument with her brother, 18-year-old Sead- rick Vincent Moore, after their mother asked him to move out of the house.
Ms. Springer told police the argument turned violent and Moore allegedly pushed her to the floor, knowing that she is pregnant. Moore was taken into custody and charged with aggravated bat- tery on a pregnant woman. He was transported to the Hillsborough County Jail.
During the booking process, detectives were able to link Moore to a series of auto burglaries that had taken place over a period of months.
Detectives said he was identified by his unique hair- style seen on surveillance videos and by witnesses who positively identified him as the suspect in the burglaries.

Moore and an unknown ac- complice broke into 10 cars in the Town N’ Country area of town. Moore is alleged to have stolen one of the vehi- cles after finding a spare key inside the owner’s other ve- hicle that he had broken into. The stolen vehicle was a 2018 Honda.
He was also observed on surveillance video entering cars on Seabury Court, Way- side Court, Fountain Avenue, Lodestone Drive, Pocahontas Avenue, and Debeers Drive, police said.
Moore is also accused of committing burglaries on June 24th and August 6th.
He is accused of taking cash and more than $4,049 in merchandise as well as 2 vehicles and a Smith & Wes- son 9 mm handgun from in- side of a vehicle.
He has been on probation since February 28, 2017 for arson of an occupied dwelling.

parking lot. However, they entered their vehicle and fled the scene, leaving 10 cans of Enfamil baby formula in the shopping cart, police said.
Detectives obtained the surveillance video from the April incident, and a photo- graph from Ms. Calhoun’s Instagram and compared it to positively identify her as the suspect. She is also suspected of other baby formula thefts at other stores throughout Florida, police said.

borough County Jail without bond. Detectives in Manatee and Marion Counties have also placed holds on her in connection with baby for- mula thefts.

Woman Arrested After Striking Driver With Her Car
Briggle threw coffee onto Albritton’s vehicle.
When Albritton got out of his vehicle to check it, Ms. Briggle allegedly backed up and hit Albritton with her
car.
Albritton was trans-
ported to Bay Pines Hospital to be checked out. Ms. Briggle was arrested, police said.

Police arrested a 31-year- old woman after she al- legedly struck another driver with her vehicle. She was charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle.
The incident took place at 6803 16th Place, North shortly after 7 a.m., Tuesday.
According to the St. Pe- tersburg Police Department, the incident involved Ms. Evelyn Briggle, 31, and 45-year-old Randall Albritton.
Albritton was attempt- ing to enter the Brandywine Apartments and Ms. Brig- gle was attempting to exit at the same time. The two be- came engaged in an alterca- tion and at some point, Ms.
