T.I.'s Sister's Cause Of Death Revealed, TMZ Apologizes For Reporting
T.I. AND PRECIOUS
Stream Prince’s Previously Unreleased ‘Originals’ Songs
By now, it’s not even a debate that Prince is one of the great- est artists to ever touch the mic. Apart from the classics that he released over the span of over three decades, casual fans often forget that he also gave other artists some excel- lent songs that he originally wrote/produced and per- formed.
When the vault with the spinning wheel at his Paisley Park studios was opened after

his death, thousands of unre- leased songs on tapes and hard drives were unearthed. Among these were some tracks written for other performers and out of the many, 14 were handpicked to create the Prince: Originals album. The tracks were se- lected collaboratively by JAY- Z and Troy Carter, on behalf of The Prince Estate and are exclusive to Jay’s streaming service TIDAL. At least for now.
T.I. blasted TMZ for its re- port on his sister's death. The outlet has backtracked on their report, issued an apology and edited the article into an obitu- ary out of respect for T.I. and his family. Below is our origi- nal report on TMZ's findings.
The cause of death for T.I's older sister, Precious Har- ris, was reportedly due to co- caine use, which triggered an irregular heartbeat leading to her crashing into a pole.
According to TMZ, 66-year- old Harris had enough of the drug in her system which caused high blood pressure and then triggered an abnor- mal heart rhythm.
Harris was reportedly driv- ing T.I.'s Dodge Avenger with his grandniece, Kairi Chap-
man, when she became un- conscious, veered off the road and crashed into a telephone pole.
Paramedics took her to a hospital where she was placed on life support. Harris was never responsive after the crash and the family decided to remove her from life support a week later.
In the wake of Harris' death, T.I. and Tiny stopped production on their reality tel- evision show T.I. and Tiny's Family Hustle where Pre- cious was frequently featured.
The Fulton County medical examiner's office wrote in their report Harris' "cocaine toxic- ity which aggravated hyperten- sive cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure)."
Denzel Washington Gushes Over Wife As His Biggest Life Achievement
Sacramento Park To Be
Denzel Washington is a two-time Oscar winner, one of the most beloved actors in show business and, on Thurs- day, he was the guest of honor at the 47th AFI Life Achieve- ment Award gala tribute, which celebrated the star's ca- reer, life and legacy.
But for Denzel himself, his biggest achievement in life doesn't have anything to do with his movies.
The celebrated actor walked the red carpet at the star-stud- ded event held in his honor at the Dolby Theater in Holly- wood, where he was joined by his wife of 35 years, Pauletta Washington.
ET's Michael Yo spoke with the pair before the gala event, and asked Denzel what

he would consider his biggest lifetime achievement.
The actor turned to his wife, and she smiled and said, "his four children."
"[Actually] I was pointing to her," Denzel replied with a smile, nodding at his lady love. "That's my biggest lifetime achievement."
The star-studded gala in- cluded appearances and speeches from Spike Lee, di- rector Antoine Fuqua, Chadwick Boseman, Jen- nifer Hudson, Mahershala Ali, Michael B. Jordan, Cicely Tyson and Julia Roberts, to name just a few.
However, one of the biggest guests of the evening was Bey- once, who came out to show some love to another honoree of the night, Franklin J. Schaffner Award recipient Melina Matsoukas, who helmed some of the singer's biggest music videos.
Named After LeVar Burton
On June 11, LeVar Burton will return to his hometown of Sacramento, Calif., to attend a ceremony in his honor. Ac- cording to ABC10, the city's Richfield Park will be named after the famed actor for his prowess within entertainment. "Sacramento has imprinted it- self on me in the most indeli- ble way," Burton said in a statement.
Councilmember Larry Carr also noted that Bur- ton's accolades can inspire young people who want to fol- low in his footsteps. "Mr. Burton's career accomplish- ment shows the possibilities that are open to all residents, no matter where they come," Carr said. "He is an inspira- tion to our youth, to people of our community and to every- one in Sacramento."
Burton's acting career began since the late '70s with his role in Almos' a Man. From

there, the 62-year-old thespian starred in other films like Roots, Ali, and a number of Star Trek productions. Also, can't forget his legendary com- mand of Reading Rainbow. On June 6, the PBS show cele- brated its 36th year anniver- sary.
Cardi B is sick and tired of being accused of using ghost- writers for her music.
On Thursday (June 6), the "Press" rapper released an ex- pletive-laced statement on Twitter to set the record straight about the salacious rumor, after a Twitter user questioned how she's on the recently released Billboard's Top 100 Songwriters chart. (Cardi is #8 on the list)
"[It's because I do write a lot of my sh*t that’s the thing," she explained. "Yes just like every other artist I do have a couple of writers that help with hooks but I wrote plenty of songs on my album specially my mixtape. Ya just flip sh*t

and ya want to believe the f**k sh*t so bad but EAT IT UP B*TCH! "
As fans know, Cardi is not one to stay quiet when haters
issue their unwarranted criti- cism of her accolades and/or life choices. Most recently, the 26-year-old rapper took to In- stagram Live to defend her de- cision to get plastic surgery after haters slammed her for getting liposuction and breast augmentation. "[People tell me], 'You lazy, you should just workout,'" Cardi said. "I do whatever the f**k I want to do with my body. I don’t have the time of day like you do. Like, my job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no, I don’t have time to work out and I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out, [will] not get fixed."
