Unfriended (2014) - A group of online chat friends (Heather Sossaman, Matthew Bohrer) find themselves haunted by an evil spirit using the Youtube account of their dead friend. You have to give this horror movie credit for being differ-

The Longest Ride - Di- rector George Tillman, Jr. (Barbershop, Notorious, Soul Food) directs this drama/romance film about a former champion bull rider (Scott Eastwood) and a college student (Britt Robertson) troubled rela- tionship. Their relationship intertwined with a much older man (Alan Alda), as he reflects back on a past love. If you like romance films, then this one is for you. Made $35M. (Budget $34M). ***1/2
Furious 7 - You already know what to expect from the Fast and Furious fran- chise. Fast cars, amazing fight scenes, pretty girls, and unbelievable stunts. Direc- tor James Wan put all that in this 2 hrs./20 mins. ac- tion movie and we wanted to see how the untimely and tragic death of superstar Paul Walker would end. Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family of street racer (Paul Walker, Michelle Ro- driquez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Dwayne ‘The Rock” John- son, and newcomer Natalie Emmanuel) have to protect themselves from Special Ops

Home (2015) - An alien named Oh (voiced by Jim Parson) is on the run from his own people, lands on Earth and makes friends with Tip (voiced by Ri- hanna), who is on a quest of her own. Kids will love this animation. Made $162M. (Budget $135M). ****
Get Hard - Hedge Fund millionaire, James King (Will Ferrell) is accused of fraud and set for prison at San Quentin. So, he seeks out help from Darnell Lewis (Kevin Hart) who will get him ready for life behind bars. Also starring T.I. as the leader of a street gang. This movie was hilarious!!! Must- see for laughs. Made $87M. (Budget $40M). ****
Insurgent - The first movie ‘Divergent’ was very good and made $288M worldwide. The second Di- vergent series “Insurgent” stepped up the action. Beat- rice Prior (Shailene Wood- ley) had to fight her inner emotions and a powerful government (Kate Winslett, Jai Courtney, Mekhi Phifer), which threatened to destroy her society. She gets help from her boyfriend (Theo James) who is willing to die for her. Action-packed, and if you can, watch it in 3-D. Enjoyed it! Made $127M U.S. / Foreign $146M. (Bud- get $110M). ****
Cinderella (2015) -
Disney’s theme ‘Have Courage And Be Kind” was a winner in this classic fairy tale. The story follows the life of young Ella (Lily James) whose father remar- ries following the death of her mother. Her cruel step- mother (Cate Blanchette) and daughters mistreat Ella throughout her life. She finds hope when she meets a stranger (Richard Madden) in the forest. Adults and young girls will enjoy this film. Made $196M. (Budget $95M). ****
Run All Night - A mob- ster hit man Jimmy Conlon (Liam Neeson) has one night to figure out how to save his son, Mike (Joel Kin- naman), from the mob boss (Ed Harris), who wants Mike to pay for the death of his son. This crime thriller was a real nail biter. Neeson is back on top after the dis- appointing ‘Taken 3’. Com- mon also stars as the assassin on the hunt for Conlon’s son. Must-see! Made $26M.
