    FAMILY NOTICE
MR. ATRAYAL RAHGENE BROWN
Mr. Atrayal Rahgene Brown (also known as Abdur Rasheed Nur) passed peacefully in his sleep on May 3, 2020, at the age of 33.
He was laid to rest on Satur- day, May 9, 2020, at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Atrayal was born in Tampa, Florida on July 17, 1986. He was an entrepreneur, a poet, an artist, and a mentor. He loved his family dearly, especially his three sons. He provided all who met him with laughs and knowledge, and taught the importance of strengthening one’s heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit.
In his twenties, Atrayal coverted to Islam and devoutly followed the teachings of peace and humility. He had a green thumb and wished to farm and grow crops.
Atrayal will be welcomed into the afterlife by his grandparents, Warren Pelt, Betty Pelt, and Gen- nie Belle Tucker; great-grand- mother, Ollie Mae Rutledge; aunts, Edwina Graham and Christine Pelt; uncle, Edd Lee Pelt; and all of his ancestors that Atrayal longed to meet.
He is survived by sons, Charayal Brown (16), Ishmael Brown (2), and Raheem Brown; mother, Betty S. Pelt; father, Al- fred Brown, III; brother, Kevin Sage, Hagab King, and Kemuel King; sister, Bianca Brown, Asia Brown, Ashley Brown, and Ess- eye Brown; stepfather, Coley Turner; nieces, Imari Williams and Jada Williams; aunts, un- cles, cousins from the Pelt and the Brown families; godsister, Shantavia Cotton; and a host of friends and loved ones.
Atrayal’s story is a never-end- ing story. His life and legacy will carry on in the faces of his three sons, and the spirits of those he inspired.
May he rest in peace, power, and paradise.
FAMILY NOTICE
MR. WILLIAM DAVISON TROTMAN
William Davison Trotman transitioned home to heaven on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. William was born on August 16, 1972, in Tampa, Florida, to the late John Been and Alma Louise Trot- man, who preceded him in death, along with brothers, Robert Trot- man and John A. Trotman.
William attended McClain Jr. High, graduated from Brandon Sr. High, and attended Hillsbor- ough Community College, before transferring to Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.
William Trotman was a leader in the community and shared his love for helping others understand and maximize their financial power with his involvement in the Black Heritage Festival.
William is survived by: his sis- ters, Deborah Waddell and Helena Trotman Reed; brothers, John Trotman, Jr., and Leroy Trot- man; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Also, to mourn him is a host of friends, colleagues, and business associates. William will be greatly missed.
The body is with Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33610, and will be laid to rest May 16th at 2:30 p. m. in the Garden of Memories Cemetery alongside his parents.

Accidental Shooting Leaves Young Child Dead

Detectives are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a child. The shooting took place on Saturday.
According to the St. Peters- burg Police Department, 5- year-old Ja’Cari Ellis was at a residence in the 3700 block of 18th Terrace, South, when he came in contact with a loaded gun. The gun discharged and the child accidentally shot himself. He was transported to All Children’s Hospital, where he died as a result of his in- juries.
Detectives are continuing their investigation to deter- mine how the child came in contact with the weapon. No charges have been filed, but the investigation is continuing, police said.
Man Found Dead Inside Gibsonton Home
Detectives are currently in- vestigating the death of an unidentified man. His body was found inside a home in the 10000 block of Ethel Street last week.
According to police, Hills- borough County deputies re- sponded to the home shortly after 5 p.m., last Thursday. When they arrived, they found a man dead inside the house. He had suffered upper body trauma. The death has been ruled a homicide.

Sheriff Chad Chronister
said, “We are asking anyone with information on this inci- dent to call (813) 247-8200 to reach a detective. No tip is too small to report.”
