Allen Temple AME Hosts Inaugural Image Awards

Recently, members of Allen Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church held their 2017 Inaugural Image Awards Pro-
gram. The event took place at the Westin Hotel on Harbour Island.
The event paid tribute to several of the
“Community’s Champions of Service.” Rev- erend Dr. Glenn Dames, Jr., is the pas- tor of the church. He and his wife, First
Lady Jennifer Dames, served as Master and Mistress of Ceremonies for the program. (Photographs by Lomax McIntyre).
Among those in attendance at the event were on the first row: Sonja Wise, Taylor Moragne, and Lakendria Robinson. Shown on the second row are: Ellen Robin- son, Pastor Dwight Newkirk, Raigan Mor- agne, Pastor Artist Moragne Newkirk, and Alfredo Moragne.
This group of ladies in attendance at the event were: Wonda Swift Wilson, Jesse Williams, Tisha Flower, and Olivia Flowers.
Marylyn and Tom Hall at- tended the event.
Rev. Ernest Campbell, Easter Curry, Earl McCullough and Alton McCullough attended the event.
Wilbert and Patricia Mal- phus was among the guests at the gala.
Former State Rep. Ed Narain and wife, Monica, attended the event.
Kathy and Joseph Mitchell were in attendance at the event.
