MRS. ALMA JEAN SIMS
Mrs. Alma Jean Sims, 63, passed away on, Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Tampa, Florida. Funeral services for Alma Sims will be held Saturday, September 16, at 2 p.m. at Ray Williams Memo- rial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Alma Jean Sims was born August 27, 1954, in Inver- ness, Mississippi.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, James Whipps, Sr., and Ruth Whipps, of Iverness Missis- sippi, brother-in-law, Dean Watson; sister, Mary Scott Daniels; uncle, Aaron Styles and stepdaughter, Loretta Sims.
She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Sims Jr. of Tampa, FL; and 9 chil- dren, Steve Singleton, Sr., (Xenia), Ronnie Singleton,
MRS. MARIEA A. POWELL
Mrs. Mariea A. Powell of Tampa, passed away Mon- day, September 4, 2017. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, Sep- tember 16 at 10 a.m. at Bible Based Fellowship Church, 4811 Ehrlich Road, with Rev- erend Darrell Davis officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Mariea A. Powell was a native and lifelong res- ident to Tampa, Florida. She was born on September 19, 1949, to Mr. Percell Williams and Alice McNeil. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1967.
Mrs. Powell was em- ployed by the School District of Hillsborough County for 10+ years. She will be re- membered for her commit- ment to her family, strong will and devoted love to her family.
Mariea is survived by: her children, Karen Simmons, Charlene Powell, Antonio Powell, Temeka Powell, Charles Powell, Jr., Cedric Powell and wife, Donna, and Derrick Powell, Sr.; 16 grandchildren, Antwon Royal, Sr., Rashad Powell, Nahshon Simmons, Andre Fountain, Jr., Antionette Powell, Andreanna Stead- man, Antonio Powell, Jr., Jalisa Powell, Roderick Pow- ell, Derrick Powell, Jr., Nierra Lane, Carlos Powell, Savannha Powell, Alana Powell, Cedric Powell, Jr., and Jaydain Powell, 9 great- grandchildren; Antwon Royal, Jr., Javon Royal, Avery Royal, Keyon Powell and Janara David; brother, James Brown and wife Sharon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Esther M. Coleman, of Tampa, ascended her earthly body on September 7, 2017, homegoing services Saturday, September 16th, 2 p.m., at Exciting Faith Alive Church, 5705 E. 32nd Av- enue. Interment in Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery.
Esther was born August 31, 1946 in Sarasota to the late Walter and Bernice Pe- terson. She was baptized in Zion Lutheran Church.
Predeceased by: parents and soul mate, her great love, Eddie; daughters, Ed- wina Wilson (Hershel), Erica, Eliria, Shawanda Webb, Trienicia (Ed) Wash- ington, and son-in-law, Stanley E. Wilson.
Brothers and sisters pre- ceding her in eternal rest: Clifford (Vera), Vivian Fitts, brother-in-law, Robert Cro- matie, sister-in-law, Lyndie Peterson Larry.

Mrs. Elouise J. White, of 8316 Endive Ave, Tampa, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 a.m, at First Bap- tist Church of Progress Vil- lage, 8722 Progress Boulevard, Dr. Samuel Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pastor and Minister Todd Hammond, officiating; Min- ister Dwayne Sanders, Sr., eulogist.
Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Elouise J. White was a native of Garnett, South Carolina, and a resident of Tampa for 61 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Progress Village since the early 1960s.
She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Herbert L.
