Future Leaders In Planning (FLIP)
Designed as an opportu- nity for high school students to explore urban planning as a potential career, Future Leaders in Planning (FLiP) offers a broad exposure to
planning from public and private sector perspectives across many fields.
In its second year, the an- nual FLiP program expanded from nine to eighteen stu- dents and from a two-day to a three-day intensive pro- gram. In our third year, we’re excited to announce FLiP will accept up to 21 students for a four-day program!
This FREE program will run May 29, May 30, May 31, and June 1, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes meals, snacks, a FLiP T-shirt, and more! Applications must be accompanied by a recom- mendation and are due by April 18, 2018.

The PVCC Annual Spring Gospel Concert will feature sounds from Sylvia Leonard, Isaac Ruffin, the Messengers of His Glory and more. It will be held on Saturday, April 14th at St. James AME Church, 5202 S. 86th Street, in Progress Village, beginning at 6 p.m.

The Friends of the 78th Street Community Library are host- ing a huge book sale! Come catch a bargain on books and help support the library.
The 38th Annual Storytelling Festival!
Come travel with nationally and internationally renowned storyteller & artist Kuniko Yamamoto as she takes you on enchanting voyages with stories and legends from her native country of Japan. Kuniko’s unique style of storytelling often incorporating magical masks, origami, musical instruments, and mime into her performances, is a treat to the ears and the eyes.
The culminating festival will be held April 21st, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Public Li- brary, located at 1505 Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602 . The festival is FREE and open to the public.
In addition to this year’s Featured Storyteller (Teller TBA0, the festival also presents hundreds of school-aged Festival Quality Storytellers, regional storytellers of all ages, balladeers, puppets, storybook characters, and much much more!

Free Tax Help From AARP Tax-Aide Foundation
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is available free to taxpayers with low and moderate income, with special attention to those 60 and older.
Assistance is provided by the AARP Tax-Aide Foundation on a first-come, first-served basis in cooperation with the Free Tax Preparation Program of Hillsborough County. The event is coordinated through the United Way Suncoast.
