                        Kendrick Perkins
Forty-one-year-old, 20- season NBA veteran Vince Carter plans on coming back for at least one more season.
In a recent interview, Carter said he’s coming back and that he’s “90 per cent” cer- tain the 2018-19 campaign will be his last.
Carter signed a one-year, $8-million deal with the Sacra- mento Kings this season. In 57 games played, the former slam dunk champion averaged 5.3 points per game on 39.6 per
  KENDRICK PERKINS
Veteran forward Kendrick Perkins is back with the Cleve- land Cavaliers.
Cleveland signed Perkins on Wednesday, the final day of the regular season, and will have him on its playoff roster as it tries to make the NBA Finals for the fourth straight year. The 33- year-old Perkins was with the Cavs during their 2015 run to the Finals.
The 6-foot-10 Perkins also was with Cleveland during train- ing camp this season, and spent time with its Canton G-League affiliate. Perkins hasn’t played in the NBA since 2016 with New Orleans.
Perkins gives Cleveland some frontcourt depth in case of an injury and another player with post-season experience who can provide leadership.
Kevin Durant To Decline Player Option, Rework Deal With Warriors
KEVIN DURANT
Golden State Warriors for- ward Kevin Durant plans to decline his player option for the 2018-19 season and become an unrestricted free agent this sum- mer, league sources told ESPN.
His time on the open mar- ket, however, will be brief.
A nine-time All-Star and the reigning NBA Finals MVP, Du- rant will be turning down a salary of $26.2 million, a figure well below that of a player of his caliber, in order to restructure a new deal with the Warriors, sources said.
Last offseason, Durant inked a discounted two-year, $51 million deal that included an opt-out clause. He took close to $10 million less than what he could have earned on a max salary. Agreeing to such terms allowed the team to retain for- ward Andre Iguodala and backup point guard Shaun Liv- ingston.

Venus, Serena Williams Join Billie Jean King Equal Pay Push
   Reports Of Tristan
A day before playing in the 2005 final at the All England Club, Venus Williams ad- dressed a meeting of the Grand Slam Board, urging Wimble- don and the French Open to offer equal pay to male and fe- male players.
The following afternoon, she won one of her seven major singles championships. About 1 1/2 years later, Wim- bledon announced it would, in- deed, offer the same prize money to men and women in all rounds of the tournament, and the French Open soon fol- lowed suit, eliminating the pay gap at the four majors.
Now, Williams and her sister, Serena, are adding their names and voices to the push for equal pay across all types of jobs that the Billie Jean King Leadership Initia- tive (BJKLI) is championing.

stars are joining the advisory board of the group founded by the former player, and Tues- day’s announcement was timed to coincide with Equal Pay Day, which approximates how far into a new year a woman must work to earn what a man made by the previ- ous Dec. 31.
 Thompson Cheating On Khloe
  Kardashian Keep Piling Up
Tristan Thompson has a lot going on in his life between gearing up for another playoff run with the Cleveland Cava- liers and preparing to become a father, but that has not stopped numerous rumors from pop- ping up about him cheating on Khloe Kardashian.
A video that was posted this week claims to show Thomp- son face-to-face with a woman not named Khloe at a night- club in Manhattan, and the two appeared to be doing more than just talking. Thompson was in New York with the Cavs taking on the New York Knicks on Monday night.
Of course, the cheating re- ports are nothing new. In a sep- arate video shared by TMZ on Tuesday, Thompson was al- legedly shown making out with a woman while her and another young lady were all over him. That video was reportedly filmed in October, when Kar-

dashian was three months pregnant with the couple’s child. TMZ also shared some footage that purported to show Thompson returning to his hotel room in NYC with a woman on Sunday.
Thompson has reportedly been described as a “serial cheater” who has been con- stantly sleeping around. The gossip report goes on to state that the Kardashian-Jenner family is “heartbroken” for Khloe, who is expected to give birth any day now.
