RAY WILLIAMS
MRS. FLORINE GRIGGS
Mrs. Florine Griggs of Tampa, Florida passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 14 at 2 p. m. at New Salem Missionary Bap- tist Church, 8525 N. 78th Street, with Reverend Robert L. Carpenter, II, Interim Pastor, officiating. In- terment will be held Monday, April 16th at 11 a. m. at the Florida Na- tional Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Mrs. Florine Griggs was a native of Somerville, Texas and a resident of Tampa for 68 years. She was pre- ceded in death by her daughter, Elaine Washington.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: two sons, William Griggs, III and Michael Griggs (Minsuk); son- in-law, Lenny Washington; five granddaughters, Michele McDowell (Kevin), Brooke Sapp (Brian), Tiffany Washington, Melissa Choe (Jacob), and Ashley Griggs; one grandson, William Griggs, IV; one great granddaughter, Melody Choe; and many other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose Friday, April 13 at 5 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Av- enue.

MRS. BARBARA HODGES LARRY
Mrs. Barbara Hodges Larry of Tampa passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 14, at 2 p. m. at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, with Pastor T. D. Leonard, officiating.
Barbara Hodges Larry, the daughter of the late Johnston and Eula Adams Hodges was a native of Americus, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for most of her life. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a grad- uate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1959.
She was preceded in death by her: husband, Edward Larry; par- ents; and brother, Willie T. Turner.
She leaves precious memories with her: sons, Damon Lamar and Damul Lamini Larry; granddaughter, DaShonna Daniels; godsisters, Eileen Wilford, Beverly Bailey, and a host of family and friends, which includes special cousins, Joan Pinkney and Sylvia Beacham, all of Tampa.

MS. ROSA LEE KELLY
Ms. Rosa Lee Kelly passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, April 14, at 11 a. m. at Greater Bethel Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 1207 N. Jef- ferson Street, with Rev. Dr. Brett Snowden, Pastor, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Rosa Lee Kelly was a native of Eufaula, Alabama and a resident of Tampa for many years. She was a member of the Bethel Light Senior Citizen Committee. Rosa enjoyed playing the piano and writing music in her spare time.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, John Kelly, Sr. and Emma Walker Kelly. She was the baby girl of 16 children, all whom preceded her in death, Johnnie Mae, Jessie, Emma, Willie, Alex, Ed, John, Jr., Minnie, Catherine, Julia, Leroy, Gree, Phyllis, Lizzy and Janie.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: devoted nephews, Michael Kelly (Gloria) and Henry Thomas, II (Mary); devoted nieces, Henrietta Ranson, and Melissa Kelly-Gainous (Kyle), all of Tampa, FL; Diane McGhee (Robert), Annette Skipper and Brenda Wilson of Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p .m. Friday, April 13 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Av- enue.

SISTER EMMA L. HUNTER
Sister Emma L. Hunter of Tampa passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 to be with the Lord. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 14 at 2 p. m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 7221 S. Sherrill Street, with Pastor Reeves, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sister Emma L. Hunter was a na- tive of Ocala, Florida and a native of Tampa, for many years. She became a nurse in the 1960’s and she loved nursing. She was also the proud small business owner of “Emma’s Floral Boutique.” Sister Hunter also loved to cook, bake, Soap Operas and cruising. She never met a stranger and she loved people.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert Thomas and Anna Whitter Thomas; husband, Leonard Hunter, Jr., and grandson, A. J.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: her loving daughters, Brenda Sanders Crum (Jermaine) and Nadeen Gant (Bernard); son, Johnnie Roy Bell; sister, Creola Morgan; grandchildren, Kayla Hawkins, Cedric Whipple, LeWanda Smith (Anthony), Alicia Oliver, Olen Tucker, Jerry, Jr. Steeles (Shawn), Katrina Chisolm (Emmanuel), Rodney Steele (Lilyian), Leon Milton James, and Aaron R. James; many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sis- ters-in-law, Juanita Hunter, Elouise Brown, Cynthia Hunter, Henrietta Walton, Gwen Lagrand, Georgia Mae Stringfield, Mary Hunter, Mamie Hunter and Annie Jones Fretts; brother-in-law, Leroy “Pap” Hunter; special nephew, Jimmie Lee Pew; niece, Arizola Wheeler; other special relatives and friend, Tony Boderick, Clara Hogan, Carolyn Thomas, Wanda Williams, Rodney Milligan, who all showed love and called daily; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and devoted friends who will certainly miss her - “We love you momma.

MRS. YVONNE HOLMES WALDON
Mrs. Yvonne Holmes Waldon, of Lutz, FL, passed away on Wednes- day, April 4, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 14, at 11 a. m. at Bible-Based Fellow- ship Church of Temple Terrace, 8718 N. 46th Street, with Reverend Earl B. Mason, Sr., Th.D., officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Yvonne Holmes Waldon was a native of Tampa, Florida prior to leaving for college. She was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School Class of 1963, continued her education at Bennett College, Greensboro, NC and received her Master of Social Work from Howard University, Washington, DC in 1974.
Mrs. Waldon began her career with the National Council of Negro Women, in Maryland. Mrs. Waldon resided in Maryland until 1977 be- fore returning to her native home of Tampa, FL. She dedicated 35 years of her life as a social worker and re- tired from Hillsborough County Schools in 2008. Mrs. Waldon en- joyed singing and dancing. She was a member of Tyer Temple United Methodist Church for almost 50 years and Bible-Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace for more than 20 years. Mrs. Waldon was a faithful Christian and a member of both church choirs. She was a mem- ber, chaplain of The Charmettes, Inc., Hillsborough County Chapter and The Red Hat Society.
Mrs. Waldon was preceded in death by: her mother, Louise Reeves; sister, Lenora McCants; and sons, Eric and Heshimur (Omarr) Holmes.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: her loving husband, Howard T. Waldon; two precious grandchil- dren, Gabriel and Leylah Holmes; siblings, Bernard Reeves, Naimah Muhammad, Veronica Crumpton and Michael D. Hall (Anita); nieces and nephews, William Stokes (Matilda), Imani Saafir, Tacuma Muhammad, Gwen (GG) Green, Balewa Muhammad, Calvin Green, Joshua Muhammad, Sabreen Muhammad, Jor-El Hall, Simone Hall and Aundrea Green, step-sons, Dewayne Waldon (Valerie) and Adrian Waldon; step-grandson, Eli- jah Waldon; brother-in-law, Charles A. Waldon (Judith); sister-in-law, Gloria Miller (Melvin); and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Waldon loved her family and friends dearly. Special cousins Carlene Sykes and Denise Peeks; de- voted, cherished best friend forever and sister, Gloria Drungo Pyles (El- liott); and adopted niece, Tasha Har- rison.
Mrs. Waldon had so many friends she loved, but a few child- hood friends remained close to her until she was called home: Sandra- Kay Hubbard, Letha Jennings, Sheila Harden, Betty Planchard and Judy Boyles. Long time college friend, Barbara Lamb and church members, Nora Randall and Grace C. Windham.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, April 13, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Ave., and the family will re- ceive friends from 6 to 7 p. m. at the chapel.
