Ex-49er That Kneeled With Colin K Unsigned
Controversy Rises About Florida State Coach Didn’t Answer Reporter’s Question After Elite 8 Loss
Former San Francisco 49er Eric Reid has yet to be signed by a team. He was the first player to kneel with Colin Kaepernick who has notably remained a free agent since his national an- them protests.
Richard Sherman, who recently signed with the 49ers, reportedly said "legal action" could be taken if Reid remains unsigned.
"We are concerned, be- cause he played at a high level, made enough plays to be signed and to make his money," Sherman said in a
The question really is: why any outside person gets to question a coach’s deci- sion?
Florida State’s Leonard Hamilton composed him- self enough to give a big pic- ture answer in explaining why Michigan won, but has since been criticized for not fouling and how he handled the question.
The interview by Dana Jacobson followed a series of bizarre coaching decisions by Hamilton over the final 90 seconds — including foul-
Boykin Says Domestic Violence Allegations Againt Him Are ‘False’
TREVONE BOYKIN
Trevone Boykin was re- leased by the Seattle Sea- hawks on Tuesday almost immediately after a report re- vealed he is being investi- gated for domestic violence, but the quarterback insists he is innocent.
In a statement he released, Boykin said the allegation that he physically assaulted his longtime girlfriend is “false.” He said he under- stands why the Seahawks chose to release him, but claims the accuser has “fabri- cated a story and I am suffer- ing the consequences.”
According to a report from a source, Boykin is expected to be charged with aggravated assault after his girlfriend Shabrika Bailey says he broke her jaw during a physi- cal altercation last week.

asked Hamilton why he did not have his players foul over the final seconds, only to have Hamilton tell her, “The game was over.”
After her fourth attempt, he replied, “With 15 seconds left on the clock, what were we down?”
It’s not easy for coaches to answer that under the cir- cumstance of a loss.
Hamilton has since ex- plained his reaction in a statement FSU later tweeted.

Venus Williams’ Cellphone Records Stall Lawsuit
LiAngelo Drops
Venus Williams' cell phone records from the fatal car accident are stalling a lawsuit, because AT&T won't release them.
Attorneys for Jerome Barson's estate are asking the judge to force Venus' cell phone carrier to release the records.
AT&T was first subpoe- naed in January ... but have yet to get any action.
Barson died from his in- juries after his sedan smashed into Venus' SUV last June in Palm Beach Gar- dens, FL. Cops cleared Venus criminally, saying she was "caught in the mid-

Just hours after it was an- nounced that LiAngelo Ball would be entering the 2018 NBA Draft, he dropped 72 points during a game in Lithuania.
The game was another "Big Baller Brand Challenge" game, meaning Ball and his Prienu Vytautas teammates were going up against Guang- dong's youth team instead of its professional squad, but 72 points is still 72 points.
LiAngelo also grabbed 11 rebounds, while his younger brother, LaMelo chipped in

NASCAR Driver Talks
About The Challenges
The road to success of being a professional race car driver is not easy. Much more if you’re considered a minor- ity. But Shauntia Latrice Norfleet, better known as Tia Norfleet, is an African American and a woman. And she is the first Black woman to be licensed by NASCAR.
“From the business side, the biggest challenge is obtain- ing sponsorship,” said Nor- fleet. “A lot of people don’t understand the dynamics of how racing actually works. They think you get a license, you get qualified and you’re going to be in every race be- cause you’re qualified, but
