   Church Pays Tribute To ‘Centenarian Women Of Grace’

Recently, members of New Salem Missionary Bap- tist Church, of Temple Ter- race, paid a special tribute to two of its members. Both are centenarians who have cele- brated their 100th birthdays.
The program, entitled
“Centenarian Women Of Grace,” honored Mrs. Na- talie Conaway, whose 102nd birthday on January 17th. Mrs. Willie Mae Reed will celebrated her 101 birthday on December 15th.
The program, sponsored by the Afternoon in White Annual Mission Day Obser-
vance, was held on Septem- ber 30th at the church. Sister Rilla Henry is the General Mission President and Rev. George Martin is the In- terim Pastor.
The ladies, who are both still active in church, enjoyed a formal reception and were joined by family members, friends, and their church family. They enjoyed a sit down dinner and both were given a Congratulatory Let- ter from Mayor Bob Buck- horn. The letters were presented by City Council- man Luis Viera, District 5.
As part of the celebration, the ladies were driven to the church in limousines.
