More and more Americans are being effected by the par- tial government shutdown as hundreds of thousands of fed- eral employees are going with- out pay.
Donald Trump told sup- porters on Tuesday, “We’re going to stay out for a long time if we have to.”
As reported by CNN, JP- Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon on Wednesday called the shutdown a “self-inflicted wound” and “negative” for the economy.
Rapper Cardi B has added her voice to the chorus of crit- ics weighing in on the ongoing shutdown, declaring “our country is a hell hole right now” after Trump reportedly demanded thousands of fed- eral workers to return to work with no pay.
Cardi took to Instagram
she explained. “Yeah, b*tch, for healthcare so your grandma could check her blood pressure and you bitches can go check your p*ssy at the gynecologist with no moth- erf*cking problem.
“Now, I know a lot of y’all don’t care because y’all don’t work for the government or y’all probably have a job. This shit is really f*cking serious, bro, this shit is crazy. Our country is in a hellhole right now: all for a f*cking wall.
“We really need to take this serious [sic],” she continued. “I feel like we need to take some kind of action. I don’t know what time of action, b*tch, be- cause this [is] not what I do. But b*tch, I’m scared. This is crazy and I really feel bad for these people who gotta go to f*cking work to not get moth- erf*cking paid.”

Chris Rock roasted the current state of comedy on Monday night while present- ing an award at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards din- ner.
The former SNL star took to the stage to present the Best First Film award to “Eighth Grade” director Bo Bunham but it turned into a short stand-up routine with Rock joking, “If it was five years ago, I could say something really offensive and funny right now, but I can’t do that anymore, so
... heyyyy!”
The comedian also let the
Academy know they shouldn’t call him for the Oscar hosting
gig.
“Steve Martin is here.
You should host the Oscars. You’re the best. Steve Mar- tin should host the Oscars! Because I’m not doing it, got- dammit! You’re not getting me.”
Martin has hosted three ceremonies and Chris Rock has hosted the Oscars on two occasions, in 2005 and 2016.

Spike Lee has opened up on how he came to team with rock band The Killers, direct- ing the video for their “Land of the Free” single, which he de- scribed as “a great protest song.”
Lee says lead singer Bran- don Flowers called him up personally to ask if he would collaborate with the band.
“He saw BlacKkKlansman, said he loved it,” Lee told The Hollywood Reporter. He said, ‘What can you do with this?’
The Las Vegas band re- leased the single on Monday and it serves as a response to Donald Trump’s presidency as well as racism and gun vio- lence in America.
As reported by NME, the video was shot by Lee on loca- tion as he traveled along the

border between the USA and Mexico late last year to capture footage of migrants and the lo- cation of Trump’s proposed border wall.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
Proudly Explains How He Went
CHRIS ROCK
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie‘s latest album Hoodie SZN brought in over 83 million streams, making his sophomore effort the No. 1 album in the country as well as his first No. 1, even though the project only sold 823 albums. The Bronx rhymer explains how this is even possible to TMZ as he was leaving Rocke- feller Center Wednesday (Jan- uary 17) evening.
“Streaming took over sales,” A Boogie says with a huge smile. “Anybody in this era right now is always going to do more streaming than sales. What I look at like? F*&% sales. We don’t even have any real CDs out.”
Prior to the release of Hoodie SZN, the “Drowning” rapper’s biggest release was his 2017 debut album The Bigger Artist which peaked on the Billboard 200 at No. 4.
A BOOGIE WIT DA HOODIE
Hoodie SZN is 20 track album with guest appearances from Juice WRLD, Tyga, Offset and fellow New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine on the London on da Track- produced cut “Swervin.” Ac- cording to A Boogie, the video for “Swervin” has al- ready been shot and 6ix9ine will be in it even though he is currently incarcerated.
Gregg Leakes Apologizes To Nene With Emotional Post Amid Cancer Battle
Gregg Leakes, the hus- band of NeNe Leakes (“Real Housewives of Atlanta”) is feeling some kind of way and is apologizing to her (and the world) for hurting her.
“We always hurt the ones we love ... because they allow us to hurt them rather than snap back,” Gregg said. “I’m tired of hurting my wife who is only trying to take good care of me and wants only the best for me too.”
As we’ve reported, Gregg has been battling stage 3 colon cancer since the summer of 2018. During his treatment, he underwent surgery but has opted out of chemotherapy.
NeNe Leakes and he husband Gregg Leakes.
And of course NeNe has hung with him all the way.
“She deserves much more for her hard efforts and tireless hours spent on me,” Gregg
added. “I Pray to God to get it together.. She’s done NO wrong... this is ALL on me...... Cancer WILL change your Life.”
