This year’s theme is “Drum Majors for Environmental Justice.” Mrs. Elaine Bryant, the event’s Chair- man, states this event is designed to not only raise awareness of environ- mental and energy injustices and in- equalities that impact our communities, but to also change our everyday practices to conserve energy, earth, and the environment.
Anticipating over 300 children and family members, there will be highly engaging and meaningful activ-
ronmental justice and equality.
“As a recipient of The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service grant, administered by Hillsborough Com- munity College, we were able to ex- pand our services to the community by offering workshops on Recycling by The City of Tampa and Energy Con-

Additionally, there will be a finan- cial workshop, MLK exhibits, arts and crafts, games, health screenings, youth entertainment, vendors’ row and free backpacks and refreshments.
