Don't Let Go - After a detective's ( David Oyelowo) family dies in what appears to be a murder, he gets a phone call from one of the dead, his niece ( Storm Reid). He's not sure if she's a ghost or if he's going mad, but as it turns out, he's not. This film directed by Jacob Estes is a understated gem. A must see for sus- pense. Made $43M- (budget- $5M)- ****
Angel Has Fallen - Secret Service Agent Mike Banning(Gerard Butler) is framed for the attempted as- sassination of the President Trumball (Morgan Freeman) and must evade his own agency and the FBI (Jada Pinkett Smith) as he tries to uncover the real threat (Danny Huston).. This 2hrs action-packed film was re- ally good. Must see for action fans. Made $53M-U.S- (budget -$40M)- ****
Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark - A group of teens (Zoe Margaret Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush) breaks into an abandon home and take a book that begin to write deadly stories about the teens. Fast And Furious Presents: Hobbs And Shaw - Fast and Furious lawman Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and assassin Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) form an unlikely love/hate alliance when a female assassin (Vanessa Kirby) steals a virus that a black superman cyborg villain (Idris Elba) wants it to destroy the world. Director David Leitch had a chance to make this a classic but decided to keep the film kid friendly. But, still an action packed and humorous movie. Must see for The Rock and Jason Statham fans. Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood - Director Quentin Tarantino put together another complicated masterpiece about a faded TV star (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his best friend/stunt double (Brad Pitt) who strived to hold on to fame and success during the final years of Hollywood's Golden Age in 1969 in Los An- geles. Started slow but picked up as in moved towards the true story of actress Sharon Tate(Margie Robbie) final days. Made $134M- U. S. / foreign $178M (budget- $90M) U.S- ****
The Lion King - (2019) After the murder of his father, Mufasa (voiced by James Earl Jones ), a young lion, Semba ( voiced by (cub- JD McCrary ) flees his kingdom only to learn the true meaning of responsibility and bravery. Semba (voiced by Donald Glover) must return with his friends ( Nala-(Beyonce), Pumbaa ( Seth Rogen), Timon (Billy Eichner) to the kingdom to rescue it from his uncle Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor). Di- rector Jon Favreau did a great job putting this film together with action and music. Must see for children and adults. Made - $529M-U.S/ foreign-$1B- (budget-N/A)- ****
Spider-Man - Far From Home - Following the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019) and still upset over the passing of Iron Man, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) , Nick Fury (Samuel jackson) and friends (Zen- daya, Jacob Batalon) must step up to take on new threats Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) in a world that has changed forever. This Spider- Man was taking a serious beating throughout the move. (Thumbs Up!) Director Jon Watt did a great making this Spider Man likable and action-packed. A little long 2hrs/10mins. Must- see for Spider Man fans. Made - $388M- U.S/ foreign-$739M- (budget-$160M)- ****
Toy Story 4 - When a new toy called "Forky" joins Woody (Tom Hanks. Tim Allen) and the gang( Keanu Reeves, Jordan Peele), a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy. You have to give Disney/Pixar credit for coming up with these incredible stories. Enjoyed it. Definitely, for adults and kids. Made - $431M- U.S.- foreign- $621M -(budget-N/A)- classic
Alladin - Will Smith Is Back! Director Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes) put together a fantastic Disney Classic about a kind-hearted street urchin( Mena Massoud) and a power-hungry Grand Vizier ( Marwan Kenzari) vie for a magic lamp with a genie inside (Smith) that has the power to make their deepest wishes come true which is the love for the beautiful princess (Naomi Scott)- Must -see for adults and kids. Made - $354M- U.S./ foreign- $691M (budget-$183M)- ****
