WILSON
MS. JANECIA DIANE BENTON
A Home Going Celebration Service for the life of Ms. Janecia Diane Benton, who passed away on August 30, 2019, will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 12 noon, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Deacon W. Williams, Officiating.
Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Ms. Janecia Diane Benton was born in Tampa, Florida, on April 11, 1958, to the parentage of Betty Diane Woody Small and Arthur Lee Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Woody Small and Arthur Lee Robinson.
Ms. Benton leaves to cherish loving memories with: her three sons, Edwin Benton, Edward John- son and Daniel Dean Benton (Erica); brothers, Freddie Benton, Antwain Robinson (Tresa), and Travis Robinson (Ida); sisters, Bev- erly Robinson Hills, Joyce Robin- son Polite and Vickie Bevins; a host of nieces and nephews; brother-in- law, James Goins; longtime com- panion, Michael Vann and other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, September 13, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home from 5 p. m. until 8 p. m. Friends are asked to assem- ble at the funeral home on Satur- day for the service at approximately 11:45 a.m.

MR. OSCAR JOHNSON, JR.
Mr. Oscar Johnson, Jr., affec- tionately known by his loved ones as “OJay”, of Riverview, FL, passed away on Monday, Septem- ber 9, 2019. Funeral services for Oscar will be held Saturday, Sep- tember 14, at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Minister Todd Hammond, officiating.
Oscar was a native of New Or- leans, Louisiana, born to the late Oscar Johnson, Sr. and Audrey Mae Johnson. He joined the United States Army, immediately after high school. He returned to New Orleans, where he met and married his wife of now 40 years, Valerie Ann. Oscar re-enlisted into the United States Army where he was a dedicated and loyal soldier, serving in Desert Storm.
After retiring from the mili- tary, Oscar began a second career at Verizon as a Communications Supervisor. He continued his ed- ucation at Florida Metropolitan University in Tampa. Oscar was a member of the American Legion, Post 26, Plant City, FL, where he served as Chaplain.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Oscar Johnson, Sr.; mother, Audrey Mae Johnson; and grandson, Terrence, Jr.
Oscar leaves behind to cher- ish his memories: his devoted wife, Valerie; daughters, Cortina Foster (Robert), Jennifer John- son, and Tracy Petrie-Oatis (Harold); sons, Curtis Johnson (Amanda), Terrence Johnson (Zimeka) and Damon Petrie (Diane); his grandchildren; and a host of other relatives both near and far.
The family would like to make special mention to the medical staff of James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital, specifically the nursing staff in Haley’s Cove Community Living Center. In addition to the following families: Foster, Mc- Gary, Scott, Fernandez, Hernan- dez, Hager, and Yarber.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, September 13th at Ray Williams Funeral Home.

MS. JOAN REID JONES
Ms. Joann Reid Jones of Tampa passed away Monday, Sep- tember 2, 2019. Homegoing serv- ices will be conducted Saturday,
at 1 p. m. at Excit- ing Faith Alive, 5705 E. 32nd Street, Tampa, FL 33619, with Pas- tor Antonio R. Hawkins, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest
Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Joann Reid Jones was a native of Vero Beach, Florida and moved to Tampa, FL at a young age where she was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She was employed as a School Bus Driver for the School District of Hillsborough County Transportation Department for over 30 years. Joann also worked as a Pool Director with the City of Tampa, Parks and Recreation De- partment, Martin Luther King Jr. Complex and several other pools for many years. Joann had a great love for children and she touched
the lives of many.
In 1994, Joann relocated to At-
lanta, GA where she worked with the Dekalb County, Head Start Program and also worked as a Bus Driver for many years. May 2018, Joann moved back to Tampa, Florida.
She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Willie and Car- rie Gibson; mother, Catherine Jones; sister, Betty Orr; best friend like a sister, Shirley Ann White; brothers, Ruben Jones and Mack Jones; daughter, Lillian D. Jones; grandchildren, Brianna Jones and Kendrick Denson; and great nephew, Damon Larry.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Retronda Jones, Dorinda Jones-Donaldson (Charles) and Clarrissa Jones; son, Freddie Jones, Jr. (Candy); grandchildren, Sakendra Jones (Robert), Theodore Jones, Anto- nio Jones, Brittish Jones (Mya), Brittany Williams, Brian Jones, Jefferson Davis, III, Arianna Jones, Alexander Burney, Kymora Collins, Jermaine Wimberly and Shaniqua Edwards; 12 great- grandchildren; sister, Helen Ruth Taylor; brothers, Bobby Jones and James Jones; a host of nieces and nephews, other sorrowing rela- tives and friends; special friends, Linda Walker-Windom (Johnny), Rena Young, Linda Shannon and family, Whitflow and family, Carla Smith and Mike Bell.

MS. ANNABELLE CARROLL JOHNSON
A Home Going Celebration for Ms. Annabelle Carroll English- Johnson who God called home on September 2, 2019, will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Shawn Thomas, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Ms. Johnson was born on May 17, 1933, in Rembert, South Car- olina, to the parentage of Mr. Ben- jamin Carroll and Mrs. Eunice Josey Carroll.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Union Baptist Church in Rembert, SC.
She attended the public schools of Kershaw County in Rembert, SC. She married Mr. Charlie English, Sr., and four chil- dren were born from this union. The English Family moved to Win- ter Park, Florida and eventually relocated to Tampa, Florida.
She retired after 20 years of service from First Florida Finan- cial Institution (now Bank of
America).
She leaves to mourn and cher-
ish her memories with: one loving and devoted son, Charlie English, Jr., and wife, Patricia; twelve car- ing grandchildren, Christopher English (Linda), Delvie Myers, Danielle Myers, Marian “Lynn” English, Myron O. English, John Charles English, Angela English, Nicole English Colbert, David Flowers and wife, (Sheretta), Michael Bing (Zavie), Derrick Flowers, and Nikisa (Darren) Robinson; thirteen great grand- children; seven great-great grandchildren; one dedicated sis- ter, Mary Lee Carroll Brantley. dedicated nieces include: Genevieve Holiday-Ellington, Ruth Wilcox, Peggie Lundy, Glo- ria Glover, Nycole Ellington- Jones (Michael), and three dedicated nephews, Garfield “Billy” Glover and wife, (Deitra) of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Robert English and wife, (Dar- lene) of Beckley, West Virginia and Michael Carroll and wife, (Betty) of Orlando, Florida, and additional nieces and nephews, too numerous to name; one sis- ter-in-law, Lula Bell Carroll, Or- lando, Florida. Devoted neighbors include: the Wheeler Family, the Bush Family, Nita Ford Family and Essie Chaney. Special friend and senior com- panion, Ermel Sprung and the Bayada Home Services.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day September 13, 2019, at Wil- son Funeral Home from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
