He was preceded in death by: his parents, Oscar Johnson, Sr. and Frances Stanley Johnson; beloved wife, Willie P. Johnson; sisters, Helen Jackson, Frances Johnson and June Johnson; brother, Roland H. Johnson; sister-in-law, Mamie L. Johnson and nephew, Pastor Roland H. Oliver.

Johnson, all of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Dante Johnson (Nisa) of St. Petersburg, FL, Khia Thomas (Anthony) of Tallahassee, FL, and Orhian Johnson (Kenesha) of St. Petersburg, FL; great- grand- children, Kennedy, Malayah, Kayla, Charisse, Arayah and Aksel; sisters-in-law, Delores White, Vaugh Grant, both of Belle Glade, FL; brothers-in-law, Anthony Sheffield of Atlanta, GA, Clinton Foster of Fort Lauderdale, FL and John F. Foster (Margaret) of Rivera Beach, FL; nephews, Aaron C. Jackson (Beverly) and Daniel Troy (Doris), all of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of other loving relatives, church family and friends.
The remains will repose and the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p. m. Friday, September 13th, at Greater Bethel Missionary Bap- tist Church.

MR. BERNARD ‘NUT’ CLARK, SR.
Mr. Bernard “Nut” Clark, Sr., of Tampa, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 4 p. m. at Allen Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2101 Lowe Street, with Reverend Dr. Glenn B. Dames Jr., officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Bernard “Nut” Clark, Sr. was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake, Class of 1960. Bernard was very athletic and played basketball, football and baseball and contin- ued his love of sports throughout the years. In 1993, Bernard retired from Delta Airlines as a Senior Service Customer Agent.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Vera Clark and Joseph Alexander.
He leaves cherished, loving and devoted memories to: his wife of 59 years, Theresa “Peaches” Clark; daughters, Valerie Clark, Bridgette Blackmon, and Sheryl Clark; son, Bernard “Tiger” Clark, Jr., (Tammy); grandchildren, Carl Gallon, Jr., (Ariale), Brittney Clark-Murphy (Adrian), and Brandon McFadden; great- grand- children, Ziaire Gallon and Decari Wilson; brother, Conskey Clark; sister-in-law, Patricia Malphus (Wilbert); brother-in-law, Her- bert Jones, Sr., (Oletha); nieces, Valerie Goodman, and LaVonne Nelson (Twain); nephew, Wilbert Malphus, Jr.; and a host of other relatives, friends, the “Main Street Crew” and the “Delta Crew”.

MOTHER ELEANOR DIXON
Mother Eleanor Dixon of Tampa passed away Sunday, Sep- tember 1, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Sep- tember, 14 at 2 p. m. at Greater Faith Outreach Center, Inc., 7401 N. Dixon Avenue, with Bishop Fred Porter officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mother Eleanor Dixon was a na- tive of Sparta, Georgia and a resi- dent of Tampa for over 60 years. She was a graduate of L. S. Ingra- ham, Sparta, GA. Mother Dixon was a faithful member and Mother of Calvary Apostle Faith Church, where she served in various capaci- ties such as: Sunday School Teacher, Pianist and Head Cook. She worked in various careers and retired as a Cook from Habana Health Care Center. Mother Dixon loved to help anyone in need and found it hard to say “No”. She loved to sew and would often make her own suits and dresses. Next to her longtime friend/sister, Josephine Williams, she loved to sew and cook. Her specialties were sweet potato pie and cornbread dressing.

MR. ARTHUR LEE BROWN
Mr. Arthur Lee Brown, affec- tionately known as “Art,” of Ridge Manor, Florida, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, September 14th at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Pastor Frank M. Bafford, Sr., officiating.
Mr. Arthur Lee Brown was a native of Thomasville, GA, born to the late Sallie Allen Brown and Oscar Brown. After graduating from Thomasville High School in 1972, he enlisted in the United States Army. He was a resident of Tampa, for more than 45 years.
Art Brown was employed by Stanley Chair Company, prior to retiring in 2016. He loved God, his family, extended family, Gospel Music, Tennis, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his Narcotics Anonymous Support Homegroup.
On May 12, 2019 Art Brown celebrated 22 years of sobriety. In his leadership role with the “A New Way” NA Homegroup, Art Brown touched the lives of many, who were struggling to regain so- briety and keep their life’s focus. Art Brown leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Chanda L. Brown, Tampa; sons, Kinte’ L. Brown and Patrick B. PASTOR EMERITUS, REVEREND OSCAR JOHNSON, JR.
Pastor Emeritus, Reverend Oscar Johnson, Jr., of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019. A Homegoing Celebration will be held, Saturday, September 14th at 11 a. m. at Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1207 N. Jefferson Street, Reverend Brett Snowden, Pastor, and Reverend Andre Saunders, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Reverend Oscar Johnson, Jr., was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hills- borough County and furthered his education at Florida A & M Univer- sity, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Educa- tion and Master’s Degree in Educa- tion. He was drafted into the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1953. Mr. Johnson was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Tampa Alumni Chapter and the West Coast Baptist Association. He retired as an Assistant Principal from the School District of Hills-
