Seventh Day Adventist Hold Easter Service
On April 4th at Mt. Calvary Seventh Day Adventist Church, Dr. Patrick Vincent, Pastor, a big welcome celebration was held as part of their Easter Serv- ice.
With the theme, “Family of Friends, Friend of the Family,” the service included a sermon by Chaplin Dr. Barry Black, and a big concert.
For the month of April, their Elder of the Month was Rud- yard James; Deacon of the month, Joseph John-Jules; Clerk of the Month, Sandra Gordon, and the Nurses on Duty during the Easter Celebra- tion were Derine Barrett and Denise Ellis. (PHOTOS BY JULIA JACKSON)

Youth Mentor Set To Receive Master’s Degree
Purpose Youth Mentoring founder, Tracey L. Brown, is set to receive her Master’s of Science Degree in Organiza- tional Management and Lead- ership from Springfield College on April 19, 2015.
During the past 6 years, Tracey has worked diligently to change the lives of disadvan- taged and disconnected youth of Hillsborough County. Born and raised in Eustis, FL, she is all too familiar with being a dis- connected youth ambling with- out direction.
Her mission is simple, “I want to use my gift to change lives. I want to teach youth the skills they need to be self- suf- ficient and the skills needed to abstain from a life of crime.”
When asked about her fu- ture, Tracey stated that she will use her leadership abilities for the first stage of Academy of Purpose Transformational School for Boys ages 14-19. She believes if our boys are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, they will.
