Third Man Arrested In Alleged Spring Break Gang Rape Incident
The owner of a $2 million mansion near Cheval in north- west Hillsborough County might have continued operat- ing his training school for adult models and strippers if it wasn’t’ for the loud parities.
The mansion in northwest Hillsborough County is next door to the exclusive gated community, and the all-night parties, complete with loud music and screaming women, drew complaints from the Cheval West neighborhood.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, if it weren’t for the complaints, the training school would still be operating under the radar.
The mansion’s owner and manager is now facing code vi- olations and a misdemeanor criminal charge.
County Commissioner Kevin Beckner is supposed to be meeting with Code En- forcement officials to discuss if further action is necessary.
Code Enforcement has re- portedly issued five citations against the property, some of
them for holding special events in an agricultural/residential zone and others for operating special events without condi- tional use approval. A hearing on the violations is scheduled for April 24th.
Records show the mansion is owned by Pink Tati LLC, but the principal owner is Cana- dian millionaire Gordon Lownds, who said he has shut down the modeling school for exotic dancers.
When Lownds bought the mansion in April 2013, he said he and some partners planned to film a reality show there about the day-to-day lives of strippers.
The mansion had been re- modeled in lush, Egyptian- themed décor and it was being marketed as “Pharaoh’s Palace.
A former investor in several adult-themed businesses ran Pharaoh’s Daughters Modeling Agency out of the mansion. The agency provided coaching and ongoing employment to promising young strippers.
