Drake's 'Nice For What' Returns To No. 1 For Eighth Week
As new album 'Scorpion' soars in atop the Billboard 200, Drake adds five new Hot 100 top 10s, upping his career total to 31, passing Michael Jackson for the most among solo males.
Drake dominates the Bill- board Hot 100 chart (dated July 14) in record-breaking fashion, as his new LP Scor- pion launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with the biggest week of consumption for an album in 2018. Atop the Hot 100, the set's "Nice for What" re- bounds from No. 6 to No. 1 for an eighth total week at the summit.
DRAKE
Among Drake's record feats on the Hot 100, he boasts seven songs in the top 10 simultaneously, besting the Beatles' record of five that had stood since 1964. (The Beatles remain the only act to monopolize the
Hot 100's entire top five in a week.) Drake adds five new Hot 100 top 10s, upping his career count to 31, passing- Michael Jackson for the most among male soloists; one of those new top 10s, "Don't Matter to Me," fea- tures Jackson, who earns his 30th top 10.
Beyond the top 10, Drake charts 27 songs overall on the July 14-dated Hot 100, breaking his own record for the most simultaneously charted titles. All 25 tracks from Scorpion, released on Young Money/Cash Money/Republic Records, appear on the chart.

The Migos won for Best Group and Offset let the cat out of the bag when he said: “I thank my wife. You should thank yours.
Dave Chappelle Defends His #MeToo Jokes And Pushing The Line In Comedy
Comedian Dave Chap- pelle opens up in a new in- terview about the blurred lines he likes to cross in his comedy.
In Chappelle’s Netflix comedy specials, he takes aim at fellow comedian Louis C.K, who was accused of sexual harass- ment, and Bill Cosby, who he admits he was conflicted about – even as he faced rape allegations. Since the special aired, Cosby was convicted of rape.
Chappelle believes that his fans want to see a come- dian who dares to push the comedic envelope.

“I don’t think people pay money to see a guy speak pre- cisely and carefully,” Chap- pelle told PBS NewsHour in a new interview Friday night. “I don’t think they want to pay to see someone worried
about the repercussions of what they say.”
As the #MeToo movement took flight, Chappelle came to his friend Louis C.K’s de- fense and said one accuser had a “brittle spirit.”
Addressing the controver- sial #MeToo movement was unavoidable as a comedian, Chappelle admits.
“But, as a comedian, that can be a very, very difficult thing not to talk about. As a human, it’s a very difficult thing not to feel, to be indif- ferent to it. Everywhere you look in America, everyone’s pushing the line in one way or another.”

Second Man Arrested In Florida Shooting Death Of Rapper XXXTentacion
Florida police have charged a second suspect with first-degree murder in the shooting death of up-and- coming rapper XXXTenta- cion in June, officials said on Wednesday.
Suspect Michael Boat- wright, 22, was already in police custody on unrelated charges when officials charged him for an alleged role in killing XXXTenta- cion, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, while he was leaving a car and boat dealership in Deer- field Beach, about 40 miles (64 km) north of Miami, on June 18.
Investigators said Boat- wright had been arrested July 5 on unrelated drug charges and was being held at Broward County Jail. It was

not immediately clear if he had retained a lawyer, ac- cording the Broward County Clerk of Courts.
"Just before 4 p.m. on June 18, Boatwright and another armed accomplice confronted Onfroy in an ap- parent robbery," the Broward County Sheriff's Of- fice said in a Wednesday statement. "At least one of the suspects fired a gun,
striking Onfroy. Both of the suspects fled in a dark-color SUV."
The rapper was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
The investigation is ongo- ing and detectives said were still seeking a man named Robert Allen, a 22-year-old described as a person of in- terest in the case.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in “Skyscaper”.
“Daddy loves who?” asks special-ops guy (or whatever) turned security consultant William Sawyer (Dwayne Johnson) as he parts ways with his children for the day in the new action film Sky- scraper, opening this week- end, July 13. “Daddy loves me,” the kids respond.
But why stop there? Be- cause, really, daddy loves all of us. Johnson, the great hulking movie star we need, knows just how to deliver the goods we crave in this stupid stretch of summer. Sure, he let us down in this spring’s unenjoyably goofy monster melee Rampage. But that was merely a sour amuse-bouche to this richer
and more robust burst of silliness, which finds John- son in peak hero mode, straining his body’s ludicrous proportions to satisfyingly superhuman effect. No one could argue that Sky- scraper is good, exactly, but it definitely delivers the pleasantly meaty thump we’ve come to expect from dear old daddy.
Johnson re-teams with his Central Intelligence direc- tor Rawson Marshall Thurner for this thriller largely set high above Hong Kong. But Skyscraper is not an overt comedy, instead finding slyer laughs in its half-deliberate B-movie trap- pings.
