  Man Killed Picking Mom Up From Work
Man Shot In Tampa Park Apartment Complex Dies
  The Tampa Police Depart- ment is conducting an investi- gation that resulted in the death of a Tampa man. The shooting took place just be- fore 10:30 p.m. Saturday night.
Officers responded to the area of E. Henderson Avenue and E. Estelle Street in refer- ence to a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, they dis- covered an unidentified vic- tim had been shot. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital by private vehicle prior to the arrival of police. The man died as a result of his gunshot wound. The investi- gation is continuing.
According to Social Media, the young man who died as a result of the shooting has been identified as Vontae Brown.

  Police are investigating a shooting that left a Tampa man dead. The shooting took place at approximately 2:30 p.m., Thursday afternoon. Tampa Police responded to the 3400 block of N. 15th Street, in reference to a shoot- ing.
When they arrived at the scene, they discovered a man was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was trans- ported to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
The suspect in the shoot- ing is described as a Black man last seen wearing dark shots, and a white hoodie. Po- lice said he fled the scene in a 4-door white sedan. Detec- tives are continuing with their investigation.
The victim has been iden- tified as 36-year-old Bryan Alan Simon, of Tampa. He is one of five children born to Ms. Annierea Grace. Simon attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, including Sickles High School. As a child, Simon played football for various little league teams and loved sports, spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed music and loved to

Simon was employed at
the Town Nā€™ Country Ware- house at the time of his death. He had worked with the com- pany for approximately 7 years, his sister, Mrs. Chauncey Holton said.
She further stated that he had gone to pick their mother up from work when he was struck by gunfire, but was not the intended target.
Simon is survived by his mother, 2 children, 3 sisters, 1 brother and other family members and friends. Funeral services were incomplete at press time. Integrity Funeral Home is in charge of handling arrangements.
The investigation is con- tinuing.

Victim Recovering
After Being
Shot In Face
Shortly after midnight Fri- day, Tampa Police received notifications from two sepa- rate Shot Spotter detections in East Tampa.
In the first call, officers re- sponded to the intersection of N. 29th Street and E. 29th Av- enue. When the officers ar- rived, they observed a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. With the assistance of other officers, the vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Nebraska Avenue and E. Columbus Drive.
When officers made con- tact with the occupants of the vehicle, they discovered that one of them was suffering a gunshot wound to the face. He
           was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he was treated for non-life threat- ening injuries.
Police did not release any information on the victim and said the investigation is con- tinuing.

Man Found Shot In Car Dies From Injuries
Tampa Police are continuing their investigation into the shooting that took place in the 2700 block of E. 18th Avenue Friday night.
In the second incident, an unidentified man has died after being shot. The shooting took place shortly before 12:30 a.m., Friday. Officers responded to the 2700 block of E. 18th Avenue, in refer- ence to the shooting.
According to Tampa Po- lice, officers arrived at the in- tersection of E. 25th Avenue and E. 18th Street. When they arrived, they found an adult man sitting in his vehicle that had crashed into a tree. The officers also discovered that the victim was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided emergency first aid until Tampa Fire Rescue ar- rived. He was transported to
Tampa General Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Detectives are continuing their investigation and at- tempting to develop leads in this case.
