WMU-Cooley Student Elected To National Post With Black Law Students Association
RIVERVIEW – WMU- Cooley Law School second- year student, Katherine Chatman has been elected to serve as the National Black Law Students Associ- ation director of commu- nity service.
In her role as NBLSA’s director of community service, Chatman coordi- nates and executes all com- munity affairs projects undertaken on a national or multi-regional level, provides for recognition of chapters who have devel- oped model community service programs, and or- ganizes a community serv- ice project to be conducted during the organizations national convention.
Chatman, of Tampa, is a member of WMU-Coo- ley’s Phi Delta Phi Interna-

tional Legal Honor Society and is NBLSA’s outgoing director of pre-law. In ad- dition to her role as direc- tor of community service, Chatman serves as the current community rela- tions chair for WMU-Coo- ley’s Black Law Students Association chapter.
Honors Convocation
On March 15, WMU- Cooley Law School’s Tampa Bay campus hon- ored nearly 150 students for their leadership roles with various student or- ganizations and for achiev- ing academic excellence by being named to the Dean’s List or Honor Roll.
Sierra Whitaker- Davis was presented with the Distinguished Student Award for her involvement and leadership with nu- merous student organiza- tions.
