Teenager Charged With Having Gun On Campus
Suspects Sought In $15,400 Copper Wiring Theft
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for two men involved in the theft of copper wiring. The theft took place at property under construction at 3670 Linebaugh Avenue.
According to police, be- tween March 23rd and March 24th, two men cut the lock to a fenced in compound and drove their late model 1990s white Dodge Dakota pickup truck through the gate.
Once inside, the men re- moved copper wiring valued at $15,400 from the enclosure be- fore fleeing the scene.

Armed Robbery Suspect Being Sought By Police
PATRICK CUMMINGS ... Wanted for armed robbery
Police needs assistance from the public in locating a man wanted for an armed robbery. The robbery took place on March 24th, shortly after 4 a.m.
The St. Petersburg Police Department is currently search- ing for 44-year-old Patrick Demetrious Cummings.
He has been identified as the suspect who committed the robbery at the Walgreens, 3077 54th Avenue, South.
According to police, the sus- pect approached the clerk at the front register, produced a black handgun, and demanded all the cash from the register. After ob- taining the cash, he fled the store.
Cummings is described as being a Black man, 5’8” and weighing 150 pounds. He has a short haircut and a beard.

A 16-year-old student was arrested and charged after it was discovered he had a gun on campus. The incident came to light after it was re- ported to the principal.
According to the Tampa Police Department, Michael Sala allegedly showed a small .38 caliber, 2-shot handgun to another student during lunch. The student re- ported the incident to the Freedom High School princi- pal. The school was placed on lockdown and officers re- sponded to the school.
Sala was taken to the School Suspension Class- room until the officers ar- rived. He was taken into custody without incident.
After searching his book bag, officers found the weapon wrapped inside of Sala’s sweatshirt, and some marijuana. Sala allegedly admitted that he had pur- chased the gun from another

student for $120. He report- edly told police he bought the gun because he was buying marijuana and did not want to be robbed, police said.
Sala was charged with possession of a firearm on a school campus, being a minor in possession of a firearm, and possession of less than 20 grams of mari- juana.
