JOAKIM NOAH
Joakim Noah apolo- gized to the New York Knicks and their fans for taking a banned substance, and he hoped to be medically cleared by NBA doctors for Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat so he can begin serving his 20-game suspension.

Russell Westbrook Says He ‘Feels Like He Made It’ After Hearing Name In Kendrick Lamar’s New Song
RUSSELL WESTBROOK AND KENDRICK LAMAR
Sports and hip-hop will forever go hand in hand, but the reaction from athletes hearing their names refer- enced in their favorite rap- pers’ melodies feels like unwrapping that gift you wished for on Christmas day.
For Russell West- brook, that’s the case when Kendrick Lamar etched his name within his latest single, “The Heart Part 4.”
“K-Dot’s my man,” the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard told reporters last Friday (March 24), per USA Today Sports. “I was surprised. I’m happy. You know, whenever you hear your name in a song you feel like I made it, I made it, es- pecially from my man.”
Final Four NCAA Showdowns
Michael Irvin, the NFL Network commentator and Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame wide receiver, is under inves- tigation for an alleged sexual- battery incident, police in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., con- firmed.
A 27-year-old woman told police she and Irvin were out at a bar and went back to his hotel, where she began to feel sick, according to a TMZ Sports report. She says she remembers fighting him off and awakened as he was checking out. She called 911 at 7:30 a.m. on March 21, say- ing she believed she had been drugged and raped. She un- derwent testing at a medical lab. The alleged victim claims she texted Irvin to ask if they had sex and he replied that he wouldn’t do anything to hurt her, according to TMZ.
A police spokesperson con- firmed in an email to The Post that Irvin had been listed in a sexual battery inci- dent report but declined to offer any further information. None of the details in TMZ’s report was listed in the inci- dent report, the spokesperson said.
Larry Friedman, Irvin’s lawyer, called the al- legations “completely false.” “In the few hours since we’ve learned about them, we’ve al- ready discovered many red flags about this young woman’s background and the allegations she made against Michael,” he told TMZ.
Hollywood would have a hard time writing a better script for this year's Final Four.
The 2017 men's basketball tournament seems to have it all: A defensive-minded top seed made it through. A Cin- derella continues to will itself past any and all challengers.
A flashy offensive team with the jerseys to match will keep dancing. Don't forget another top seed seeming unbeatable when healthy.
Call it a lot to digest, which is nothing but a great situation given the break be- fore the games begin.

MICHAEL IRVIN
“Even the complaint that she made specifically says she does not recall the events that took place. She was very drunk that night. Nothing happened and there was no assault.”
Friedman added that Irvin “was in Fort Laud- erdale visiting his nieces and nephews at a track meet. He was also visiting his 90-year- old aunt and attending her birthday party. He was blind- sided by news of these allega- tions.”
Irvin, according to TMZ, says he was with a group of people in a bar until about 4:30 a.m. March 21. He re- turned to his hotel and the woman followed. He was in the room for 15 minutes be- fore leaving for an early flight. TMZ reports that another man allegedly was in the room and that the alleged vic- tim, who is a cosmetologist, texted Irvin the next day to say, “Come for a facial when you get back to Fort Laud- erdale.”

Young Star Pitcher Leads
USA To World Baseball
Championship Win; Is MVP
Marcus Stroman, the 5′ 8′′ rising star made history on the mound Wednesday night (March 22), leading Team USA to their first World Base- ball Classic championship 8-0 over Puerto Rico.
Stroman was brilliant in the final, bringing a no-hitter into the seventh inning. The Toronto Blue Jay took home MVP honors for the clincher.
It wasn’t all been smooth sailing for the 25-year-old, who was roughed up earlier in the second round of the tour- nament by Puerto Rico, which made for a sweet revenge story for Stroman, whose mother is from Puerto Rico, as he and his mom both received backlash on social media for changing his mind in Decem- ber, electing to play for the

USA over PR.
The Medford, NY native
and Duke University graduate responded to his critics after the 2-1 semi-final win over Japan. And wrote the ending to his own script when he de- cided to suit up for the United States over Puerto Rico by leading them to their first ever WBC title.
