Student Who Stabbed Another Teen Facing Charges
Man Sought By Police For Sex Offense
One teenager was treated at a local hospital and another was arrested Tuesday after an altercation resulted in a stab- bing.
According to the Tampa Police Department, officers responded to Chamberlain High School, 9401 N. Boule- vard, in reference to a stab- bing. Upon arrival at the school, the investigating offi- cers learned that 15-year-old Roselena Tavera-Diaz had reportedly stabbed Mystique Rogers, also 15-years-old with a steak knife.
Other students broke the two girls apart. After the stab- bing, Tavera-Diaz fled the scene, but was quickly appre- hended. The school was placed on a modified lock- down for about 10 minutes before resuming a normal schedule.

East, the man was sitting in the back seat of his vehicle at the gas pump. The man got the victim’s attention by making noises. When she turned around, she observed the man masturbating. He winked at her and she jumped in her car and fled.
The vehicle is described as a early 2000 Buick Le Sabre. It is light purple with large chrome rims on a lifted frame.

Tavera-Diaz was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery, having a weapon on a school campus, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Police said they are unsure what led to the confrontation. The investigation is continu- ing.
The Black man is between 18 and 35-years-old, 5’8” to 6’, and weighing between 170 and 200 pounds. His vehicle is an early 2000 Buick Le Sabre, light purple in color with large chrome rims on a lifted frame.

Woman Wanted In $10,000 Forgery Case Surrenders
Men Posing As Police Shoot Into Two Valrico Homes
The 20-year-old wanted by the Lakeland Police De- partment in connection with a forgery case that included using more than $10,000 for plastic surgery has surren- dered.
According to Sgt. Gary Goss, Nyaira Ronnie Thomas, of Lake Wales, surrendered Tuesday and was released on bond.
According to the Lake- land Police Department, Ms. Thomas was wanted on charges of criminal use of personal ID, forgery, and grand theft.
Police began a criminal investigation on March 2nd after receiving a forgery re- port. The victim identified only as K.C., told police that someone had used her iden- tity and personal informa- tion to obtain services on two separate occasions at a clinic in Lakeland.
Detectives learned that several credit applications had been opened in the vic- tim’s name. In one of the cases, a woman went to the Care Credit at Watson Clinic as the victim and provided an Illinois identification with her picture on it.

She returned on February 27th, and had an injection in her lips. The cost of that pro- cedure was $530, police said.
Detectives were able to identify the suspect using a credit application report that listed a Lake Wales address, as Ms. Nyaira Ronnie Thomas, of Lake Wales.
Police are currently searching for two men who allegedly fired several rounds into a Valrico home at 1107 Mallory Point Drive. The men knocked on the door and identified themselves as po-

The men told the uniden- tified victim who answered their knock that they were po- lice officers. She advised them that she was going to call the police and they walked away.
As the men walked away from the residence they fired several rounds at the house. One of the bullets passed through the front window. The suspects then fled the scene in a dark colored, small four door vehicle.
