Complaints Sent To U. S. Dept. Of Justice Accusing Atty. General Sessions Of Lying
U. S. Attorney Jeff Sessions ...lawyer files complaint on be-
half of 23 residents
A complaint sent to the U. S. Department of Justice Monday alleges that Attorney Gen- eral Jeff Sessions lied in his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee about his communications with the Russian government and later tried to cover up the lie, and asks the department to launch a criminal inquiry of its boss.
The complaint names 23 res- idents of five states and, ac- cording to the Washington Post, states that during his Jan- uary confirmation hearing, Sessions gave “false and mis- leading” testimony when he
said he “did not have commu- nications with Russians.” That alleged lie was made worse when Sessions attempted to cover it up by having his spokeswoman make a public statement saying that he did not mislead the committee, the complaint indicates.
“We feel there is probable cause to charge him with a crime,” J. Whitfield Larrabee, a Massachusetts lawyer who represents the 23 residents, told the Washington Post.
“We want indictments in the case. We want Attorney Gen- eral Sessions to be treated just the same as anyone else. We don’t think that just be- cause he’s the attorney general, that there should be a higher standard to bring charges against him.”
Larrabee said the com- plaint was sent Monday to three Justice Department divi- sions that investigate alleged crimes and misconduct by agency employees and public officials.
Ivanka Trump Is Now A Government Employee, Assistant To The President Of The U. S.
According to the New York Times, Ivanka Trump, the elder daughter of President Trump, is becoming an offi- cial government employee, joining her husband, Jared Kushner, in serving as an unpaid adviser to her father in the White House.
The announcement on Wednesday amounts to the formal recognition of the value Mr. Trump places on the judgment and loyalty of both his daughter and his son-in-law. While relying on family members for advice is hardly unusual for a presi- dent, giving them a formal role has few precedents.

assistant to the president; Mr. Kushner, 36, has the title of senior adviser.
When questions were raised about whether Mr. Kushner’s appointment vi-
olated federal anti-nepotism laws, the Justice Department wrote a memo in January concluding that the rules did not apply to the White House.
Bill O’Reilly Has Gone Too Far, Disrespects Congresswoman Maxine Waters With Racist Hair Comment
FOX’s ultra con- servative/racist show host, Bill O'Reilly's disrespectful comments about California Congresswoman Maxine Waters' hair recently, set the internet off.
It spread across Twitter, sparking venom and helping make #BlackWomenAtWork a trending topic. And, of course, it found its way onto both conservative and tradi- tional news sites, which — it turns out — presented differ- ent versions of events, ac- cording to U.S.A. Today.
If you haven't heard, O’Reilly claimed he was so distracted by Waters' hair and its similarity to the late soul singer James Brown's that he was unable to listen to an anti-Trump speech she gave on the House floor.
The story of O'Reilly's comment, his apology and Waters' response revealed the separation between con- servative and traditional media.

chose to downplay O'Reilly's comments or build-up Waters' attack on Trump. While traditional media largely stuck to the narrative that O'Reilly was contrite after making a re- mark many deemed offen- sive.
Fox News published a first-hand account by O'Reilly titled, "Bill O'Reilly: A Congresswoman Attacks President Trump." In
it, O'Reilly again apologized and said Waters doesn't de- serve to be marginalized by opponents, but said many Americans disagree with Waters' "extremism." He quickly turned his attention to her accusation Trump is "dangerous" to society.
Cong. Waters tweeted Tuesday evening saying, "I am a strong Black woman. I cannot be intimidated, and I am not going anywhere.”
