Police have arrested a 22- year-old Tampa man and charged him with murder. He is linked to a fatal shooting that took place November 2, 2019.
According to the Tampa Police Department, on that night, officers responded to the 8500 block of N. 15th Street in reference to shots being fired. When they ar- rived, they discovered that a 26-year-old man had been shot. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital by Tampa Fire Rescue. The man died as a result of his injuries.
Leads the detectives de- veloped in the case led them to Darius Rush as the sus- pect. A warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of first- degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

41, in Springhill. When he pulled his vehicle into the Sunoco Station, 12634 U. S. Highway 41, he was arrested without incident. The arrest took place last Wednesday, around 5:30 p.m.
Police said Rush has an extensive and violent criminal history.
The name of the victim has not been released by po- lice.
HECTOR CABRERA
Police have arrested a man who met detectives instead of the young girl he had planned to meet. He was arrested last Tuesday.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, Hector Cabrera, 32, is a for- mer school bus driver. Cabr- era had met a 14-year-old girl on social media and had planned to meet her. He did not know that he was commu- nicating with police who were posing as the teenager.
Cabrera advised that he wanted to engage in sexual acts with the detective posing as a juvenile.
On the morning of the ar- rest, Cabrera and the under- cover detective again exchanged messages and agreed to meet at 1 p.m. Cabr- era was arrested upon his ar- rival at the supposed meet-up location. After a search of his vehicle, detectives found that Cabrera had condoms in his possession.
He was previously em- ployed as a Hillsborough County school bus driver from 2015 to 2018. He is currently employed at the Hillsborough County Clerk of Courts Office, and has been since 2018.
Cabrera was charged with traveling to meet minor after using computer serv- ices/devices to solicit certain illegal acts; use of computer services or devices to solicit certain illegal acts; and unlaw- ful use of two way communi- cations device.
RASHEEM KINEARD
was issued for Kineard, charging him with one count of lewd or lascivious exhibi- tion. The Plant City Police De- partment later arrested him.
Kineard admitted to committing the offenses. He has a criminal history that dates back to 2010.

A 27-year-old man was taken into custody after he ex- posed himself. He is alleged to have committed the crime on at least seven different times throughout Hillsborough County.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, on April 18, 2020, the suspect, identified as Rasheem Kin- eard, exposed himself in front of a juvenile at the First Lady Beauty Supply, 5531 78th Street, South. Following a thorough investigation, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was able to identify Kineard as the suspect in at least six other exposure of sex- ual organs cases.

Young Girl
Detectives Charge Man In Gibsonton Murder
 Detectives have arrested a 20-year-old man and charged him in connection with a mur- der last week. The body of the unidentified man was found in his Gibsonton home in the 10000 block of Ethel Street.
According to police, Hills- borough County deputies re- sponded to the home shortly after 5 p.m., last Thursday. When they arrived, they found a deceased man inside the house. He had suffered upper body trauma.
During the investigation,
Devonte Medina-High- tower was identified as a “person of interest” in the case. He was later identified as a suspect in the case.

He was already in custody on charges of violation of pro- bation and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Medina-Hightower is now being held without bond on first-degree murder charges. The investigation is continuing.
