Two Charged With Stabbing, Shooting Victim
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people linked to a shoot- ing and stabbing. The incident took place Saturday afternoon in the 5000 block of Williams Road.
According to police, at ap- proximately 3:00 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of Williams Road, in reference to a domes- tic-related stabbing.
Detectives learned Car- rington Thornton, 21, stabbed the victim during an argument.
Pedro David Sanchez Baez, 41, who lives nearby, drove to the home and, from his car, shot at the victim who was standing outside the resi- dence. Sanchez Baez fled the scene, but was located and

arrested at Puritan Road and 56th Street in Tampa. Sanchez Baez was charged with attempted first degree murder with a firearm and shooting at, within, or into a vehicle.
Thornton was arrested and charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder with a

The victim was trans-
ported to Tampa General Hos- pital with non-life threatening injuries.
