The Hook On The Horizon
ince the beginning of
the pandemic, the main focus of governments around the world has been the creation of a vaccine; a super drug that can either eradicate COVID-19 all to- gether or, at the very least, prevent people from becom- ing ill.
Due to the major disrup- tions to commerce the virus has caused, returning to some sense of normalcy by stopping the spread of the contagion, is of the upmost importance to those who occupy the highest seats of authority.... At least that's
what they keep telling us. But what if there is more to the story than what's being presented? While we're constantly worried about the steady jab the Coronavirus continues to administer to our noses, there's a possibility that we're being set up for a vi- cious right hook to our chins that could send us
crashing to the canvas.
For years, we've been told about climate change and how an overpopulated planet could make matters worse. According to clima- tologists and environmen-
talists too many people would, not only, increase the carbon output and ac- celerate global warming (making for more severe weather systems), but it would also place a strain on natural resources like food and water.
This “less is better” argu- ment has been used for decades by those who sup- port some form of popula- tion control, including Prince William of Great Britain who, while speaking at a conference in 2017, of- fered his take on the issue.
"Africa's rapidly growing human population is pre- dicted to more than double by 2050; a staggering in- crease of three and a half million people per month.
There is no question that the increase puts wildlife and habitat under enor-

Who Can You Believe?
Americans are asking who can they believe? It seems everybody lies. No doubt the years 2019 and 2020 will fill American History books as some of the most chaotic and lie-telling years in American history.
The behavior of America’s president will no doubt provide fuel for comparing his behavior to that of Hitler, Mussolini, and other world dictators.
Moreover, the propensity of lies told by our 45th pres- ident will have exceeded 20,000 at the end of the Presi- dent’s fourth year in office.
Those years will be called the “Fact Checking” era be- cause some of our reputable news media and elected of- ficials engaged in providing false information; hid the truth of the danger of the Coronavirus; engaged in spreading lies about the virus, while knowingly with- holding the truth about the number of cases and deaths due to Coronavirus.
Moreover, there will certainly be reminders of how each presentation by a candidate and an elected official was fact checked at the end of the presentation which in- cluded at least one lie and or a shading of the truth.
Political candidates made up lies about each other (non-citizens, pedophiles, mental problems, to name a few); refused to disavow racial hate groups and tended to support white supremacy groups while labeling Civil Rights protestors and Civil Rights organizations as ter- rorist groups, even though the FBI did not find evidence of Black terrorism.
Indeed, social media (Facebook, tweeting, email, etc.) became sources of rumors, lies, and make believe. Their use became so treacherous that Americans could not believe anything they read online unless it was pub- lished by major, credible news sources (ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS) and major newspapers.
The FBI constantly reported that Russia and other foreign countries attempted to hack the websites of po- litical parties and candidates along with posting false in- formation on social media and fake websites.
Approaching the November 3rd Election, Americans are still wondering who they can believe when listening to political candidates.
We encourage voters to carefully examine statements made by every candidate before deciding to vote for them. In other words, vote as if your life depended on it, because indeed it does.
