Car Burglary
Man Arrested For Strong Armed Robbery
 Woman Charged
With Fraud Against
Elderly Victims
Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforce- ment arrested an 18-year-old woman and charged her with several crimes. Investigators said she is part of a larger fraud ring that operated in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Alachua, and Orange Coun- ties.
According to a press re- lease from FDLE, Ms. Azalea Brown is facing charges for at least seven counts of criminal use of per- sonal identification informa- tion, unlawful possession of personal information of an- other person, and organized scheme to defraud.
Agents learned during their investigation that be- tween March 2017 and Sep- tember 2017, Ms. Brown obtained account information and other personal informa- tion of several credit card holders.
Ms. Brown and others used the information to con- tact the credit card companies and presented themselves as the true account holders. Re- placement cards were then mailed out to the offenders.

Ms. Brown and others then used the cards to pur- chase gift cards and merchan- dise throughout the state. It is estimated that the monetary loss of her transactions was more than $203,000. The purchases that were not hon- ored exceeded $31,000, offi- cials said.
There were at least eight victims connected to the fraud ring who ranged in age from 65 to 92 years of age.
Ms. Brown, of Tampa, was released to other law en- forcement jurisdictions. She was held at the Hillsborough County Jail on 9 out-of- county warrant.

A 40-year-old man was arrested last week and charged with breaking into unoccupied vehicles. He is a suspect in other similar crimes.
Demetrius Marshall
was arrested after he was ob- served trying to break into a vehicle near 113 W. Curtis Street. The neighbor called police while the crime was in progress shortly before 5 a.m., last Thursday.
When officers arrived, they located Marshall a few blocks away near North Highland Avenue and W. Vi- olet Street. After being taken into custody, police reviewed a video from September 1st.
In the video, police said Marshall matched the de- scription of a s suspect rid- ing a bicycle in the Riverside Heights neighborhood shortly after 2 a.m. He laid the bicycle down in the road

and proceeded to pull on the door handles of several cars parked in front of a home.
Marshall then walked across the street where he was to get inside a minivan and a sedan. He left the scene on the bicycle. His bond was set at $12,000.

The Dade City Police De- partment has arrested a man and charged him with the rob- bery of a convenience store. The robbery took place early Saturday.
According to police, the man rushed a 61-year-old woman as she was opening the Hilltop Gas Station, 13851 7th Avenue. He forced her to open the register, robbed the busi- ness, then brutally attacked her before fleeing on foot.
The suspect has been iden- tified as 48-year-old Michael Tyrone Larry, Sr., of Dade City.
Larry was arrested a few hours later. He is a suspect in an attempted robbery of a con- venience store in late August. He is being held on several charges.
  Police Seek Help In Identifying Robbery Suspect
   The Plant City Police De- partment is seeking the pub- lic’s help in identifying a robbery suspect.
The robbery took place on August 31st, at the Wal- greens, 2102 W. Baker Street.
According to police, the unknown Black man entered the store shortly after 6 a.m. He selected a bottle of water and gave it to the clerk, along

with a $1 bill. When the clerk opened the cash register, the man reached over the counter and attempted to grab the cash.
A struggle ensued be- tween the man and the fe- male clerk, and he fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash. He was last seen getting into a small 2- door dark colored car that was parked across the street.
On September 6th, the same man repeated the same crime. He is also believed to be linked to similar type rob- beries at a Walgreens in Temple Terrace that took place on September 1st.
