Omarosa Claims White House Staffers Had Crazy Code For Trump
Trump Campaign Members Were 'Fully Aware' Of Efforts To Set Putin Meeting
George Papadopoulos on ABC News’ “This Week”.
Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman is proving to be the gift that keeps on giving, with her latest allegation that shows Donald Trump in a bad light.
The author of the newly re- leased tell-all, Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House, told MSNBC on Sunday that when- ever Trump did anything “in- sane” or “crazy,” White House staffers and others with ties to the administration would use the hashtag #TFA in text mes- sages. It is a reference to the 25th Amendment, which would allow Vice President Mike Pence to take over in the case of impairment that prevents Trump from fulfill- ing his duties.
“We had a little hashtag, hashtag TFA, whenever he did something that was just so in- sane and so crazy and un- hinged, when he would flip positions from one hour to the next, we’d just hashtag it ‘TFA’

George Papadopou- los, the one-time foreign pol- icy adviser to Donald Trump who became swept up in the special counsel in- vestigation, says members of the Trump campaign team were “fully aware” and in many cases supportive of his efforts to broker a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I actively sought to lever- age my contacts with the pro- fessor to host this meeting,” Papadopoulos told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos in an ex- clusive interview on "This Week" Sunday. "The cam- paign was fully aware what I was doing."
Papadopoulos’s com- ments were his first in public since being sentenced Friday to 14 days incarceration, one year of supervised release, 200 hours of community service and a $9,500 fine. He pleaded guilty in October to
making false statements to FBI agents about his interac- tions with a Russian national and a Maltese professor be- lieved to be an operative for the Russian government.
Stephanopoulos asked Papadopoulos about his meeting with the FBI in Jan- uary 2017, at which time the former campaign aide said he was "of course" hopeful that he would get a job in the Trump administration.
"It was in that context on January 27, 2017 when you met with the FBI and lied to them about your meetings with [Maltese professor] Joseph Mifsud," Stepha- nopoulos said. "Why did you lie to them?"
"I found myself pinned between the Department of Justice and the sitting presi- dent and having probing questions that I thought might incriminate the sitting president," Papadopoulos said.
President Donald Trump criticized the Na- tional Football League Sunday morning ahead of the league's first full day of the season, claiming that viewership for NFL games is down and sug- gesting that if players "stood proudly" for the National An- them "ratings could come back."
"Wow, NFL first game rat- ings are way down over an al- ready really bad last year comparison," the president tweeted Sunday morning, re- peating a claim he previously made about NFL ratings last season. "Viewership declined 13%, the lowest in over a decade. If the players stood proudly for our Flag and An- them, and it is all shown on broadcast, maybe ratings could come back? Otherwise worse!" ABC News could not immedi- ately confirm the NFL's view- ership numbers.
This is the latest in a months-long campaign that the president has waged against the NFL, lambasting

and keep moving,” she said during the interview with MSNBC.
Omarosa’s allegation was the latest in a string of unflat- tering claims that the former reality TV star has made against the Trump adminis-
tration since the release of her book in mid August. Chief of Staff John Kelly fired her in December.
President Trump drew heat when he referred to Omarosa as a “dog” after her book was released.
Trump Reignites Feud With NFL As The Season Begins
the league for allowing players to kneel during the national anthem.
There's no sign that pro- tests are letting up. Ahead of their game against the Ten- nessee Titans on Sunday, Miami Dolphins wide receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson, who protested during the pre-season, became the first players to take a knee dur- ing the 2018 regular season. Meanwhile, defensive end
Robert Quinn raised his fist. At a campaign event in Al- abama on September 22, 2017, Trump called on NFL owners to fire players who take a knee, suggesting they say, "get that s- - of a b---- off the field! He's
fired, he's fired!"
Several players have con-
tinued to raise their fists or take a knee during the NFL’s 2018 preseason to protest po- lice brutality against black peo- ple and people of color.
