Woman Gets 4 Years For Credit Card And ID Fraud
Reward Offered For Bank Robbery Suspect
BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT
A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for informa- tion in a bank robbery. The robbery took place last Fri- day.
According to the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice, deputies responded to Fifth Third Bank, 13304 U. S. 301, in reference to a bank robbery.
Witnesses told detectives that the Black man entered the bank around 11:41 a.m. He gave the teller a note de-
manding money and fled the scene in an undetermined di- rection after receiving the money.
The man is described as being 5’8” to 6’, and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds.

A federal judge has sen- tenced a woman to 4 years and 9 months in prison. She pleaded guilty on February 16, 2017.
Judge Elizabeth A. Kovachevich handed down the sentence to Ms. Nejah Prince, of Tampa. She pleaded guilty to access de- vice (credit card) fraud and filing false claims against the government.
According to court docu- ments, in February 2013, Tampa Police officers exe- cuted a search warrant at Ms. Prince’s home. During the search, they found copies of confidential patient med-

viduals, reloadable debit cards, and several tax re- turns.
Further investigation re- vealed that Ms. Prince had used the identity of one per- son whose name was on a VA medical record to open a credit account at the now out of business Montgomery Ward Store.
She then made $1,300 in purchases using that ac- count. In addition, IRS agents discovered that many of the identities found during the search warrant had been used in the filing of false and fraudulent income tax re- turns.
Stolen Property
$30,000
Tampa Police have ob- tained warrants for a man connected to trafficking in stolen property. Some of the stolen property has been re- covered at local pawn shops.
There are 4 active arrest warrants for 59-year-old Hezekiah Hargrove, of Tampa. Hargrove is wanted for 3 counts of deal- ing in stolen property, 2 counts of giving false infor- mation to a pawnbroker, and grand theft.
According to police, it is believed that Hargrove is allegedly involved in vehicle burglaries and thefts where lawn maintenance equip- ment is being taken. The thefts are occurring while the victims are away from their vehicles working on lawns.
The stolen equipment has been pawned shortly after being stolen. Police said there may be others involved in the string of crimes. In some instances, Hargrove has been a passenger in a black Chrysler Pacifica.

Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice believe the crimes may be connected to other bur- glaries and thefts in Hillsbor- ough County, police said.

The Plant City Police De- partment is currently investi- gating a theft of $30,000 in equipment. The crime took place shortly after 4 a.m., on May 28th.
According to police, the suspects knocked down the fence surrounding Taylor Rental, 601 Collins Street, South. Once they gained entry to the property, the suspects removed several items includ- ing: a John Deere lawn mower, diesel generators, rims, tires, and propane.
Investigators said a large vehicle or a truck would have been needed to remove the property from the business. There were at least 2 people involved in the crime.
