Donald Trump Claims Weed Causes Users To 'Lose IQ Points' in Leaked Audio
Senators Say They Have Settled
In a leaked audio record- ing of Donald Trump that surfaced last week, the Presi- dent claimed that weed was making its users dumber. "In Colorado they have more ac- cidents," Trump said in the audio, which was obtained by Rudolph Guiliani associ- ate Lev Parnas. "It does cause an IQ problem," he added.
The lengthy audio clip, which most notably made headlines for Trump calling for the firing of Ukraine Am- bassador Marie Yovanovitch, saw Trump debate whether the legaliza- tion of marijuana is "a good thing or a bad thing." In the leaked conversation, Trump said "you lose IQ points" for using the drug. Donald Trump Jr., however, dis-

agreed with his father. "Be- tween that and alcohol, as far as I'm concerned, alcohol does much more damage."
The debate between the two started after Parnas suggested that legal mari- juana is "the future, no mat- ter how you look at it." Additionally, Parnas said
that Trump could establish a "presidential committe on cannabis." Another unidenti- fied person in the recording took Trump Jr.'s side, and added weed is a "better alter- native" to opioid painkillers. "It's so far out you're not going to stop it," Parnas said.
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP
Senators will vote at 4 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday to ren- der a verdict on President Trump’s impeachment trial. They will vote on procedural motions on Friday and return at 11 a.m. on Monday to give closing arguments, senators said on Friday. They will have a chance to give floor speeches on Tuesday before the vote on Wednesday.
“I’d rather conclude it right away,” said Senator Roy Blunt, Republican of Mis- souri. But the rules allowed for more time and Democrats in- sisted, he added.
“It gives everybody the flex- ibility if they need to go some- where over the weekend,” said Senator Mike Braun, Re- publican of Indiana.
The schedule means Mr. Trump would deliver the State of the Union address on Tuesday night with his all but certain acquittal pending.
“The president is gratified that finally — at long last, after multiple delays — the Senate will set a schedule for his ac- quittals quickly as possible,” said Eric Ueland, Mr. Trump’s congressional liai- son. “I do not believe that schedule interferes with his ability to deliver a strong and confident State of the Union message to the House of Rep- resentatives and the country

next week.”
But people close to Mr.
Trump said he was unhappy about the prospect of giving the speech before the Senate acquits him, and is mystified as to why Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican of Kentucky and the majority leader, could not force an end to the proceeding before his address. They spoke on the condition of anonymity to dis- close Mr. Trump’s thinking.
Senator Chuck Schu- mer, Democrat of New York and the minority leader, said in a statement that Republi- cans “wanted to rush through an acquittal vote tonight” but Democrats wanted “ample time for every member to speak.”

Have A Huge Cult Following
Barack Obama is en route to becoming the fashion icon of dads and streetwear aficiona- dos alike. Starting with the in- famous and highly criticized tan suit during his presidency, to his post-presidency leather jacket look while hanging with Drake and his bomber jacket emblazoned with “44,” it seems now that every time the former POTUS steps out in a casual outfit, the internet explodes. His latest look is no exception.
As Barack and Michelle Obama appeared in Kuala Lumpur at an event for the Obama Foundation, he sported a decidedly cool look: French cuffed chinos with exposed an- kles, a fitted polo shirt à la Richie Tenenbaum, and classic Adidas Stan Smith sneakers.
