Mrs. Earkie Baker Milner was born on December 30, 1928, to the parentage of Ed- ward (Ed.) Baker and Mattie Cannon Baker in Quincy, Florida.
Earkie was educated in the public schools of Gadsden County, Florida and later at- tended and graduated from FAMU with a Bachelor’s De- gree.
Mrs. Milner married William P. Milner in 1957 and they later relocated to Tampa, Florida. From this union four children were born; William, Kathy, Prudence and Charles.
During this time Earkie worked as a Teacher, Physical Therapist Assistant, and also assisted with the daily opera- tions of the family’s Account- ing & Tax Preparation Business.
Earkie confessed and ac- knowledged Christ at an early age. She was a faithful mem- ber at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, where she was a life- time member. Mrs. Milner served In the Choir and faith- fully attended her church until her health began to fail.
Earkie was outgoing, easily made friends and was always eager and ready to help others. She loved to cook for her fam- ily and friends. Mrs. Milner took pride in her appearance and was always well groomed and energetic.
Mrs. Milner was preceded in death by: her parents, Ed- ward (Ed) Baker and Mattie Cannon Baker; husband, William P. Milner, Sr.; daugh- ter, Prudence M. Locure and her siblings.
Earkie leaves to mourn her passing children, William P. Milner (Jayne), Delray Beach, Florida, Kathy Cole (Arthur), Brandon, Florida, and Charles E. A Homegoing Celebration for Pastor Marionette Holling- shed will be held Saturday, May 1st at 1:00 P.M. at Center for Manifestation, 3102 E Lake Ave, Apostle Mark Jones, Sr., Pastor, with Apostle Samuel Phillips, Sr., officiating, and Bishop Curt McKay, Eugolist. Interment will follow in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Pastor Hollingshed was born November 11, 1951, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Marion and Lucille Mathis. She accepted Christ as her per- sonal Savior at an early age. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate from Middleton High School, Class of 1969. She later ob- tained her B. S. in Accounting from FAMU and M.B.A. from FMU.
Pastor Hollingshed was employed at Pricewaterhouse- Coopers for over 15 years and taught at Sheehy Elementary for 8 years before enjoying re- tirement.
She leaves to mourn her passing: a devoted husband of 45 years, William Hollingshed, Sr.; 5 sons, William, Jr., Der- rick, Johnathan, Daniel and Caleb; 4 daughters, Tawana, Christina, Anna (Timothy) and Calyn (Brian); 13 grandchil- dren, Timothy, Daria, Tadavia, Kyla, Skylar, Timothy, III, Alana, Caleb, Jr., Caden, Noah, Naomi, Ayowale and Joshua; 2 great grandchildren, Maori and Araya; 4 nieces, Connie (Willie), Letha (Fredrick), Talanya and Kia; 4 nephews, James, Jr, Jimmie (Sonja), Marlo and John (Katina); a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, god- children and other sorrowing relatives and a host of devoted friends who include Delores Knighten.

 MS. YASMEEN MICHELE JOLLY LEON
 A Homegoing Celebration Service for Ms. Yasmeen Michele Jolly Leon will be held on Saturday May 01, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N 29th Street, Senior Pastor Dr. S. Evan Burrows, Reverend Christopher Jarnegan, Offici- ating with Pastor Kenneth Barrington, Metropolitan Cathedral of Truth, Eulogist.
Yasmeen Michele Jolly- Leon was born on December 10, 1962, in Tampa, Florida, to Edward Jolly and Elizabeth Tucker (Jolly) Futch. She grew up as a devoted member of First Baptist Church of College Hill.
Yasmeen attended C. Leon King High School, where she was a part of the flag squad and played the French Horn for the concert band. She was a graduate of the Class of 1980. She received her Associate Ap- plied Science Degree in Pre- Pharmacy from FAMU. She also graduated from the Uni- versity of South Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology.
In the spring of 1999, she received a Master of Education Degree from FAMU. She later earned her second Master’s Degree from the University of North Florida in Educational Leadership in 2011.
Yasmeen was a true ser- vant leader, and she devoted her professional career to ed- ucation equality. She had over 30 years of experience as a middle and high school teacher, science coach, and school administrator.
Yasmeen Jolly-Leon tran- sitioned on Sunday, April 18, 2021. She leaves behind: her two daughters, Ariel Stevens and Daria Leon; her stepchil- dren, Learnon Leon, Jr., Makeda Leon and Mina Leon; her grandchildren, Cheikh Raphael Stevens; sisters, Cathy Jolly and Crystal Jolly; her nephews, Kadeem Davis, Rogers Jackson, III, and Malik Davis as well as a host of other family and friends.
