looked life square in the eyes and said God will never give me more than I can handle. She was never without words and was always a generous friend that offered a word of encouragement and a listening ear. If you needed her all you had to do was call. However, she usually would just show up. She was fiercely independ- ent and found joy and comfort in church, spending time with family and friends socializing, shopping, meeting new people and trying new things, fash- ion, interior / exterior design and gardening. Mrs. Walker was larger than life, the type of person whose mold was bro- ken when God created her. Once in a lifetime, the original, often imitated, but never du- plicated. She will be missed; however, sorrow cannot dampen the absolute joy we feel that she is finally reunited with the Lord Jesus and all of her departed loved ones. Rest in peace, Mrs. Walker God’s good and faithful servant. Job well done.
