MR. DAVID CARSWELL
Mr. David Isaiah Carswell, 72, of Tampa entered rest on Tuesday, April 20th, 2021. Fu- neral services will be con- ducted Saturday May 1st at 12:00 Noon at Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Cedric Car- swell, officiating. Interment will follow.

Mr. David Isaiah Carswell was the 6th of 18 kids, born to the late Eddie Lee Carswell, Sr., and Gertrude Carswell. He was a native of Cross and Green, Georgia, where he at- tended Swainsboro High School. Beyond his time in his native state of Georgia, Mr. Carswell worked for the Port of Tampa as a Longshoreman for 15 years.
As an entrepreneur, he owned and operated an enter- tainment lounge and managed rental properties. David would later relocate to Cincin- nati, where he worked as a leather craftsman for a few years. In 1993, he permanently set his roots in the city of Tampa to be closer to his fam-
ily. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, JoAnn Thornton Carswell; three daughters, Shunda Carswell, Belinda Carswell (son-in-law, Willie Chaney), and Autumn Carswell; two sons, Freddie Nesmith (daughter-in-law Katherine Nesmith) and David I. Carswell; seventeen grand- children, Tatiyana, Travontae, Tavaris, Timnisha, Derenzo, Timothy, Christian, Davionna, David, Quadranique, Lamia, Josiah, Monique, Fredzeik, Jahvon, Destiny, Braylon, and Kison; three sisters, Alfredia Levine, Gertrude Delois Phillips (Wilbert), and Eliza- beth Carswell-Braswell; sister- in-law; Charlotte Carswell; seven brothers, Robert Lee Carswell (Linda), Roger Lee Carswell (Rebecca), Elijah Carswell, Samuel Carswell, Randy Carswell, Jimmy Car- swell, and Alfonzia Carswell; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
David was preceded in death by: his loving father and mother; his 7 siblings, Annie Daisy, Otis, Willie James, Eddie Jean, Willie Albert,
Ellis, and Eddie Lee Carswell Jr. The remains will repose from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday, April 30th at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.

Ms. Evelyn Clark was a na- tive of Clewiston, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 35 years. She was a graduate of Clewiston High School and furthered her education with Edward Waters College. Ms. Clark was a member of Glory Filled Assembly. She was em- ployed as a Aide with the School District of Hillsbor- ough County.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Whitfield and Susie Clark, Sr.; grandchild, Trellini Amber Baker; siblings, Curtis Alexander, Katharine Doctor, Janie Holmes, Patricia Harvey, Whitfield Clark, Jr., and Tony Clark, Sr.; and nephew, Tony Clark, Jr.

Ms. Herminia Gonzalez was a native of Brooklyn, New York, and a resident of the Tampa Bay Area for seven years. She was born to Arlene Negron and Tomas Gonzalez and was educated in the public schools of Brooklyn, New York, where she was a gradu- ated of Grover Cleveland High School.
Herminia worked at Coney Island Community Daycare, which eventually led her to her passion to open her own home childcare center, Minnie’s Mini’s.
Herminia relocated to the Tampa Bay Area in June of 2013. Herminia was baptized and received Christ as her per- sonal savior in 1996. She united with New Life Christian Fellowship Church under the pastorage of Bishop Robert L. Register, where she served on the Usher and Hospitality Min- istries. She also served as the leader of the Young Adults Ministry.
Minnie was a charismatic worshiper, and you could al- ways find her singing, dancing and praising the Lord. Minnie will always be remembered for her love for people, her caring and sharing nature, her fun- loving joyous spirit, and her passion for music. She always had a beautiful welcoming an infectious smile and she was a mother figure and daughter to many.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Tomas Gonza- lez; and brother, Wilfred (Cookie).
MR. WILLIE GRAHAM
Mr. Willie Jewel Graham of Tampa passed away Friday, April 23, 2021. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Satur- day, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Reverend Victor Ball, officiat-

Mr. Willie J. Graham was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida and was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, gradu- ating from Robinson High School, Class of 1973. Mr. Graham was employed as a Flooring Specialist and he also worked at Tampa Interna- tional Airport.
He loved sports and was an avid Lakers and Tampa Bay Bucs fan. Willie never had children, but he had an abun- dance of love for his nieces, nephews, relatives, and his friends’ children.
He worked hard in his car- pet businesses and always strived to serve his many clients.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Irene Graham Lewis and Robert Graham; brothers, Bobby Graham and Samuel Graham; sisters, Elaine Mayweather, and Eve- lyn Graham Rodriguez; nephews, Jade Graham, and Byron Graham; uncle, William Warren; and brother- in-law, Calvin Finger.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three sisters, Con-
stance Finger, Geraldine Bradley and Maxine Graham; two brothers, Ronald Lewis and Donald Lewis; nieces, Tonya Rodriguez, Tamara Brown (Larry), Ariale Gallon (Carl), Rachel Rodriguez, Do- minique Finger, Machela Fin- ger, April Lewis, Ronetta Lewis, Ziare Gallon, Chyna Brown, Ebony Knights, Vale- ria, Diedria Graham, Tina Graham, Debra Johnson (Elvis), and Danielle Hunter; nephews, William Finger, Jr., Dominick Rodriguez, Galen Graham, Otto Graham, Dar- ren Lewis, William Brown, Michael Knights, Jamar Epps, Dominick Rodriguez, Jr., Toren Rodriguez William Warren, Vincent Braden, and Michael Braden; and a host of cousins, Anthony Pryor and Gregory Graham; other rela- tives and friends.
A special devoted friend/brother, Carlton Lofton (Vernadine); addi- tional special friends and ex- tended family, the Blanchetts, Kitchens, Swift, Marvin Knight, the Cottons, Algie Morgan, Herman Bradley, the Hough family, Doug Tire Shop and so many more families and friends whom Willie loved.
