19-Year-Old Charged In
Three Arrested In Armed Robbery, Drive-By Shooting
Shooting Death Of 14-Year-Old
On Saturday, Temple Ter- race Police were called at 5:30 p.m. to the scene in the 4600 block of East Whiteway Avenue. At that location, they found 14-year-old Stephenn Santiago-Grey suffering from life threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pro- nounced dead.
Police arrested 19-year- old Jose Antonio Cruz and charged him with manslaughter. He is being held on $15,000 bond.
According to police, Cruz was in possession of a .357 handgun he thought was empty. When Grey, a sixth grader reportedly dared him to shoot, Cruz pulled the

trigger and Grey was shot in the chest. He collapsed in the driveway of his house at 4611 East Whiteway Drive.
Police are still investigat- ing the incident and getting statements from possible wit- nesses.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that three suspects have been ar- rested in an armed robbery and drive-by shooting Wednesday.
At 12:37 p. m., deputies said two suspects entered Westco Gas Station, 5701 Highway 674 in Wimauma and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. The suspects were seen fleeing in a 2000-2004 Chevrolet Im- pala after getting money from the clerk.
Deputies said at 10:30 pm., the suspect vehicle was allegedly involved in a drive- by shooting in the 7500 block of Turtle View Drive. No one was injured.

The vehicle stopped and a 15-year-old Ruskin male got out. The vehicle then ap- peared to intentionally drive off the road and hit a dog who was crossing the street. The dog was not found after the incident.
A traffic stop was set up by deputies, and Jorge Abelardo Davila, 22, was arrested along with a 16-year- old. They also returned to the location where the 15-year- old had been dropped off and arrested him.

458 Guns Exchanged For Gift
Pasco County deputies have arrested two people ac- cused of robbing two gas sta- tions in Lutz in the past month. According to deputies, Victor Jackson, Sr., 25 was charged with two counts of robbery, and Shanelle Re- becca Ridgeway, 27, was charged with one count of rob- bery.
Deputies said Jackson robbed Tailgate Mart, 25195 State Road 54 on November 18th, and Citgo 23434 State Road 54, on December 4th.
Ridgeway drove the car involved in the November 18th robbery, deputies said.
Jackson’s bond is set at $20,000 and Ridgeway’s bond is $10,000.
The Clearwater Police De- partment reports that within 90 minutes, 130 guns had been collected and more than $10,000 in gift cards handed out during the gun buy-back at Joe DiMaggio Sports Com- plex.
When the event ended five hours later, police took in 458 guns in exchange for $37,850 in gift cards.

With Child Abuse
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office detectives have ar- rested a former high school basketball assistant coach and lawyer for child abuse after he allegedly made a 16- year-old remove his clothing in front of him.
Detectives said the victim was also forced to wear a dia- per as punishment and the suspect removed the diaper and wipe him. He was also charged with possession of child pornography.
Authorities said the crime occurred between April and September 2015 at the resi- dence of the suspect.
The suspect was identified as Frederick T. Lowe, 56, a volunteer junior varsity bas- ketball assistant coach at Eastlake High School and a real estate and criminal lawyer by trade.

teenager was being mentored by Lowe at his home in Palm Harbor.
Detectives also recovered a text message containing sexual innuendo that Lowe allegedly sent to the victim.
Detectives said Lowe kissed the victim on the mouth by grabbing his ace and he allegedly told the boy he loved him.
Through various inter- views, detective said Lowe had a history of viewing child pornography and he had ear- lier propositioned another boy.
