Warriors Reportedly Not Interested In Carmelo Anthony
CARMELO ANTHONY
Draymond Green may think that Carmelo Anthony can still play in the NBA, but that won’t be happening for the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors have “no in- terest” in adding Anthony to their team.
Anthony is still on Hous- ton’s roster despite the Rockets not wanting him to report to the team any longer. He lasted just 10 games with the Rockets before they decided to part ways with him.
The 34-year-old has been a poor fit in his last two stints, which have come with Okla- homa City and Houston.
   Near-Magnificent Night
Agency Is ‘Simmering’
For Patrick Mahomes;
Issue With Warriors
Goff Shines In Win
Kevin Durant’s im- pending free agency is an issue that has been “simmer- ing” among the Golden State Warriors, according to a re- port.
Draymond Green and Durant got into a heated locker room exchange after Monday night’s overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Durant, and others, were upset with Green for not passing the ball on the final play of regulation, which sent the game to overtime.
Green challenged Du- rant about his impending free agency. Charania says Durant’s free agency has been a “simmering” issue for the team.
Durant signed a one- year deal with the Warriors that gave them financial flex- ibility for the season. How- ever, that also means he is
Patrick Mahomes threw for a career-high 478 yards. He threw six touchdown passes to tie his career best and set a record for a Monday Night Football game. Jared Goff was magnificent also in the win completing 31-49 passes for 413 yards.
Kansas City's final two pos- sessions, when the Chiefs were desperately trying to catch the Rams, ended with Mahomes interceptions. But Mahomes was beating himself up after the Kansas City Chiefs' 54-51 loss to the Los Angeles Rams because of five costly turnovers: two fumbles and three interceptions. One of the two lost fumbles was returned 11 yards for a touchdown by Samson Ebukam. Ma- homes also threw an inter- ception that was returned 25 yards for a touchdown, also by
PATRICK MAHOMES Ebukam.
Mahomes is the first player since 1933 (when player stats were first tracked) with six passing touchdowns and five turnovers in a game.
"These are the games that you're going to play hopefully in the playoffs," Mahomes said. "You want to make sure you limit your mistakes but at the same time still be aggres- sive and still score points."
KEVIN DURANT
not committed to the team beyond the season, despite having a $31.5 million player option for next year.
There has been specula- tion that Durant could leave for another team and new challenge after the season, es- pecially since he’s already won two championships with Golden State and could get a third this year. There was talk about him potentially joining LeBron in Los Angeles.
