Missy Elliott And Timbaland Sued By Alleged Aaliyah Songwriter
Missy Elliott and Tim- baland are being sued for al- legedly stealing a song. According to TMZ, Terry Williams has filed legal docs claiming he helped Missy write and produce a track called “Heartbroken” that was eventually released by Aaliyah in 1996.
Williams says Aaliyah was only able to release the Timbaland-produced song because Missy sold it with- out his consent. In the suit, Williams says he and Missy made a deal to share profits from the song.
However, a rep for Missy denies there was ever an

agreement in place.
“There is not now and
never was any ‘agreement’
between Missy Elliott and Terry Williams,” the rep told TMZ. “As the exclusive owner of her own lyrics and vocals that she created, Missy is not obligated to pay Terry Williams money.
“These claims against Missy are completely merit- less and without any basis in fact or law, and are simply another facet of the original scheme that was devised to artificially extract money from Missy by exploiting the fact that Terry Williams, in his capacity as a music pro- ducer, happened to have recordings of Missy from more than 20 years ago.”

Kanye West Donates $150K To Family Of Hero Security Guard Killed By Cops
In the wee hours of No- vember 11 inside Manny’s Blue Room Bar located in the Chicago suburb of Robbins, armed security guard Jemel Roberson broke up a ruckus caused by unruly patrons — only to find himself in a shootout when the group re- turned and someone opened fire.
The 26-year-old returned fire and successfully dis- armed and detained one of the men — only for respond- ing Midlothian police officers to gun him down.
“He had somebody on the ground with his knee in back, with his gun in his back like, ‘Don’t move,'” witness Adam Harris told WGN following the shootings. “Everybody was screaming out, ‘Security!’ He was a security guard...And they still did their job, and saw a black man with a gun, and basically killed him.”
Details of Roberson’s life have also been uncovered. He not only aspired to be a police officer himself, but was also actually working the security detail in order to splurge for his 9-month-old son’s first Christmas. (He also left be- hind an unborn child.)
“A family member called meandtoldme....Ijust

broke down crying in the bathroom. For a long time, I was in the bathroom,” Roberson’s girlfriend Avontae Boose told CNN adding, “their son had just been calling for his dad.”
Immediately after the tragic scenario, a GoFundMe account was established to help pay for Roberson’s fu- neral expenses and the news graced across fellow Chicagoan Kanye West’s radar.
According to TMZ, a “deeply moved” West do- nated $150,000 to Rober- son’s family on Friday (November 16), which far ex- ceeded the GoFundMe’s ini- tial request of $10,000.
