MR. CARLTON MCLEOD
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Carlton McLeod of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday November 10, 2018, will be held Saturday, November 24th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, offi- ciating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Carl- ton was born February 14, 1940 in Westmoreland, Ja- maica. He was a member of Horizon Christian Church. He enjoyed listening to music and cooking. He also loved enter- taining and socializing with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter McLeod and Inez Dewar and grandson, Kyle Davey. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife, Euge- nie McLeod; daughter, Ruth Whittle; grandson, Kenneth Davey; great-grandchildren, Tamani Davey, Tamir Davey and Aria Davey; sisters, Norma Jones (Henry) and Udel White; niece, Marcia Scott; nephew, Dwayne McBride; grand- nieces, Sade Morris and Bianca McBride; cousin, Joyce McKenzie; a host of other rela- tives and friends that will miss him.
The visitation will be at Aikens Funeral home on Sat- urday, November 24th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

MR. JAMES LEE SAMS, JR.
Mr. James Lee Sams, Jr., of Tampa, FL, departed this life No- vember 14, 2018. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 24th at 11 a. m., at Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ, 2313 E. 27th Av- enue, with Bishop Matthew Williams, Pastor, officiating. There will be no interment.
On November 30, 1973, James and Ethel celebrated the birth of James, Jr. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, and re- ceived his High School Diploma from Hillsborough High School, Class of 1992. He was a jack of all trades from Auto Maintenance to Concrete Construction and worked alongside his father in the family- owned concrete con- struction business.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Arthur and Norris Myers, Larger Sams; and two aunts, Brenda and Gloria Sams.
He leaves to treasure his life and precious memories in the hearts of: his beloved mother, Ethel Sams; loving father, James Sams, Sr. (Michelle); sister, An- dreca Bludsaw (Kenneth); pre- cious niece, Kenesha Bludsaw; grandmother, Josephine Sams; uncles, Larger, Alphonso, Robert, Albert and Lonnie Sams; aunts, Francis Nappier, Joann and Aretha Sams; longtime best friend, Allen; special friend, Sophia Stephens; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

MS. BRENDA S. BURNEY EDWARDS McGHEE (‘Midget’)
Ms. Brenda S. Burney Ed- wards McGhee, affectionately called “Midget,” made her Heav- enly transition on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018. A Honor of her life will be held Saturday, No- vember 24th at 11 a. m. at New Life Tabernacle, 6912 Williams Road, Seffner, Florida, Officiat- ing Pastor Rashidi Collins, Sen- ior Pastor Daniel M. Davy. Interment will follow at Rest Haven.
Brenda was born in Willis- ton, Florida to Lula Burney and Samuel Edwards. Brenda spent her early years living in Morris- ton, Florida. She later moved to Tampa where she attended school and graduated from Mid- dleton High School, Class of 1971.
Brenda worked for Dean Wit- ter Reynolds for several years. She later worked for Honeywell and Group Technology. She was also employed with the Hillsbor- ough County Health Dept.
Brenda was preceded in death by: her husband, Leroy McGhee; stepfather, Johnnie Benniefield; sister, Tevis Ben- niefield Hugghis; brother, Alvin Graham; grandparents, Levan and Flora Burney.

Steven Milhouse was born in Tampa, on August 21, 1969 to the late Mr. Joe Louis Hol- land and Ms. Martha Lene Holland.
He graduated from Cham- berlin Senior High School, Class of 1987. He also attended ITT Technical Institute study- ing Engineering and Welding.

Mrs. Zoretha Doyle Bland- ing of Temple Terrace, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Novem- ber 24th at 11 a.m. at Bible- Based Fellowship Church of Carrollwood, 4811 Ehrlich Road, Tampa, FL 33624, with Reverend Matthew James, of- ficiating. Interment will be held Monday, November 26 at 11 a. m. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 854 Memorial Drive, Avon Park, FL 33825.
Mrs. Blanding was a native of Tallahassee, FL, a resident of Sebring, Florida, and relo- cated to Tampa after retire- ment. She earned a BS Degree from Florida A & M University and a Master’s Degree from the University of South Florida. Mrs. Blanding dedi- cated 40 years as an Educator and retired as an Administra- tor from the Highlands County School Board, Sebring, FL.
She was a member of Vic- tory Church of Lakeland, FL, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Order of the Eastern Star - Prince Hall.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eustis (Essie Mae) Doyle; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Reddick (Daisy) Austin; hus- band, Mr. William Blanding; and brother, Mr. Eustis Doyle, Jr. (Louise).
She leaves to cherish her beloved memory: three daugh- ters, Verneka Lawrence Rhodes of Temple Terrace, FL, Jenuryl Blanding Fluellen of Atlanta, GA, and Tonya Bland- ing Riggins (Norbert Sr.) of At- lanta, GA; grandchildren, Jonathan Rhodes of Temple Terrace, FL, Gianna Rhodes of Washington, D.
